Orlando did good in this one. Process driven guy. Defense could be better, but he knows that and has bought in. I'm willing to see what CTO can do next year. Green goggles on!
If you're going on what they did outside of USF, Taggart is up in the air... Sure he did well before USF... But since? I didn't really follow him at FAU...
2. Agree; love it. He's "fascinated" previously we've not been able to make it work here.
He keeps talking about laying the foundation. Would love to hear the shift when he feels the foundation is there and ready to build beyond it.
Def. Damned if they do, damned if he don't moment, but t they way he asked it, then the follow up, the the later question he had for BB... Definitely classlessly trying to dig up a story.
Will be interesting to see if that actually happens seeing as they severed the contract with the design build team. Although they are trying to sole source to the AE firm. Perhaps that's what all of the meeting agenda item is supposed to cover... The acceptance of the soul source justification for the architect so the contract can be approved and then the renderings released
I was in H.O.T. Band for our first bowl (meineke car Care bowl in Charlotte against NC State) and our first bowl win (whatever they called the Birmingham bowl those days) against ECU.
I was sick as a dog in Birmingham.
I would show him:
1. Weaver and Horn. Early season standouts but STILL not bowling.
2. Battie. Fell flat off high hopes at Auburn. Believe he had an injury off-season though.
Haven't followed what NIL they may got, but grass is not always greener.
Golesh keeps talking about building something special here. Hard to do that in one season.
With the current atmosphere though... We have to worry about coaches and players.
Trash is definitely a way to describe them. Wouldn't have changed the game, but that play where our defender was nearly decapitated by a receiver who then caught the touchdown was a trash move and even bigger joke that no personal foul was called.
This is probably old news, but was pleasantly surprised when I turned on the game and Jim Louk was calling it. Wish ESPN would just do something like that for all of the ESPN plus feeds... Just let the local radio hosts be the commentary.
