  1. I understand that things happen, and in this case, it's my understanding that he was also a couple of classes short at the end but, this team has won many national championships, is the best team in the area by far, and is sending kids to a lot of places we don't want them to go. We need to drive over and work things out. A lot of parents don't want their kids going straight to the pros, and with the new transfer portal, a lot of teams like Ole Miss, UF, and FSU would rather have someone from the portal than a high school player. That means a lot of high school players we should not have a look at, might want to come here. (We might loose them a year later) but, we might make a place they want to stay.
  2. I have waited to mention this but my grandson goes to the summer camp every year and he loves the coaching staff however, he plays for the Kangaroo court baseball team that also has the Top tear summer teams. Their top tear team had the shortstop from Jesuit, Calvary Christiam, and one other high school. They had 7 players that were drafted this year. They put platers on every team (except USF) In fact they haven't sent a player to USF for a while because of one player who committed and his senior year didn't hit well and his scholly was pulled. Now they won't send anyone here. We HAVE to fix that.
  3. The idea of having shade bothers me. Right now we are building a 30,000 seat stadium with the understanding that once we start winning we can expand. How is that possible if we add a shade, unless it's some kind of see through shade that the upper level people can see be able to see the game. Kind of like the old sun dome that had the steel framing in the way for the people (like me beack then) who could not afford the good seats.
  4. Soooo Your bragging that my electric put them to sleep. Should have left that one alone.
  5. You fell asleep riding on a bus with the sun dolls and cheerleaders! Is that a knock on our cheer leaders and sun dolls, or just your old age?
  6. Perfect. Soon we will have our small Dallas high school football stadium so 20,000 people can watch us play in the Metro football league.
  7. C plus. We down graded in conference but, we have been on a slide every year since we screwed over Leavitt. I thought the curse of "the Jim" would destroy us forever. I know that hating Judy has really paid off for UCF. Hopefully we can stay on the positive side and improve conferences so that we can keep our coaches. Otherwise the Jim will destroy us!
  8. Maybe we should consider holding off one year and use a couple of Million to buy a team,. Then we could have enough fans to build a real stadium.
  9. a few years we were upset because were were stuck in a conference with Houston and UCF. I guarantee WV is not happy about them coming into their conference right now. Get the right people, and things cab change quickly.
  10. Unless it was necessary to show this delusional fan base that there is no coach that we want that would want to be here except Jim. It would be fantastic if we convince him to come back!
  11. It would be difficult to get him to come back as HC. He would never come back for less.
  12. WOW! We have a president who 100% better than Judy and after 3 months you want to get rid of her. Judy beat down the sports programs sooooo bad there isn't a lot left to work with. The best thing that has happened to USF since we fired Leavitt is Will Weatherford and he might make mistakes but at least now we don't have people who WANT the programs to fail.
  13. and that's why the old timers would love to see Leavitt back. He took a used traier and a sandspur lot, and a bunch of want a be high school players that nobody else wanted and beat a ton of top 25 rated teams. It was a pain in the neck having to leave early to get through the traffic to have to stand in long lines to get into the stadium, or wait again just to get a coke, only to have to stand up the entire game in order to see over the loaded stadium, only to be stuck in another traffic jam getting away from the stadium. But it was nice seeing the team every week on Game day, and seeing people who were proud to have USF stickers on their cars. It was also nice to be able to go to a home game and have more USF fans than UCF fans. Leavitt never lost to them. Even when we were under 10 years old, and they had a 20 year head start on us. He beat teams that thought they were using us for an easy win. Teams like FSU at FSU, Auburn in Auburn (at night), Louisville, Cinci,WV,NC, Kansas, and Pitt when they were all highly ranked. We looked down on most of the teams that caught us, beat us, and are now walking away from us. Yes I miss that, and if you need someone to beg him to come back, I would do it gladly.
  14. would be ok with me if we could tackle someone. We would have been 12 and 0 this year with the defense her had in his first year with one, two and no star recruits.
  15. If you don't love him, you have something wrong with you.
  16. I have been a season ticket holder for 15 years. I did not go to a game this year and I am not sure about renewing my football or basketball tickets. If we were to hire Leavitt, I would not only buy again, I would double my donation!
  17. Wasn't Mike Jenkins the only high rated 3 star in the group?
  18. Like the center we got from Pensacola that was a one star that started for us at D End for three years.
  19. Tough schedule? How many top five teams? How many top 10 teams? I want Scott to do well but, let's not see something that isn't there. Auburn, WV, NC, Pitt, Louisville (when they were good) Rutgers(when they were rated) and Cinci was the easy game. That was a tough schedule.
