You know, I may be missing something but I don't remember him thanking God for allowing us to win games. I think I remember him thanking God for giving him the ability to make a living doing the thing that he loves to do.
I also may be missing something but I don't believe he is the type of person who uses God for a crutch and is hedging his bet against loosing. I believe he actually trusts in God and is giving Him all the praise and glory for any success he accomplishes because he is actually grateful for everything God does for him.
That is an old school saying that stock brokers would tell you when they wanted you to sell a stock and buy something else so that they could make the commissions.
It was great hosting Syracuse, UConn, Villanova, Georgetown, Pitt, WV, Louisville, ND, Cinci, Seton Hall, and DePaul. Rutgers was a pain in the neck, or maybe lower.
In 2012 we were around even, maybe 5 and 5 on the OOC while Collins was hurt.
Then we were something like 12 and 4 in the big east conference. Un til then everyone who went 50-50 in big east play made the tourney.
We were stuck in the play in.
We won the play in, and the round of 64. With about 5 seconds left in the game, and I think a 3 point lead. Shot clock was running out when we made an alley oop, slam in. We held on the rim and they called a tech foul because he hung onto the rim.
We did not get the basket, they got two free throws and made them. They got the ball and made a quick shot to win the game.

It also might help if there is no parade, 24 hours of Daytona, or wrestling hoopla going on at the same time. Although the Daytona 500 will be here soon.
WOW. That took a ton of thought. And special logic. The kind of logic you get from the expensive stuff on the side of a mountain in Colorado, watching the sun go down, and come back up again.
Fun to read though.
They need to consider coaches being able to lock in 22 players that can't be touched. However, it they lock in someone they HAVE to provide playing time or all bets are off.
Kids have 5 years to live their dreams of playing college football. Unfortunately, their dreams don't include being a really good back up to make us feel really good about our teams not falling off if our starter gets hurt.
Players do get hurt, and the second string has to decide if it would be better for him to be here in case the starter gets hurt, or does he have enough time in case the starter turns pro early.
College football in our passion but, it's their lives.
I really don't want my wife looking around however, if I had a backup wife waiting around, I would expect her to see if she couldn't do better.
