  1. So if the Gators and UCF were playing on the same night, this is proof that the UCF game would draw more eyes in the Orlando market than the UF game ..... Come on, dude. Why have their never been any higher rated ESPN games that featured that Gators. Surely there have been some major bowl games and other regular season matchups on ESPN that featured the Gators. If UCF had the highest rated game EVER in our market then by virtue of that high water mark we own the market. It is simple logic.
  2. The point is that UCF, NOT UF or FSU, had the highest rated ESPN game EVER in Orlando. People always say well yeah, "but do they really carry their market?", or "Orlando is Gators country". Well UCF just answered those detractors in resounding fashion.
  3. One of the Teams needs to pull off an upset in the series to really get it going IMO
  4. ^^^ UCF fans were saying that for years, Memphis and ECU would have made good additions to go to 12 too
  5. I'll be there! Looking forward to it! I will prob hit up SoHo after, and recommendations?
  6. Berkeley, thats a howl.I guess they are right in the same category as UCF and FIU and FAU and Florida Tech and Broward Community College You do realize that Cal has had some pretty nice seasons, right? Or are you just showing your lack of CFB knowledge by not knowing that Cal and Bereley are one and the same.
  7. You do realize that middle of the road CUSA team Tulane just beat Rutgers a few weeks ago right? And that Southern Miss beat Kansas... And that bottom feeder UAB took Tenn to overtime, and lost to Mississippi St by 5 pts... And that ECU beat NC State... Right? CUSA is hardly a world beater, but outside the very upper echololan of BCS team (those currently in the Top 15), CUSA is competitive with any BCS team. I would say that CUSA has actually gotten better this year, which is part of the reason why UCF is ranked... If UCF and USF played 10 times this year, UCF would win 9...
  8. i am probably one of the few on here who wouldnt mind it. it sure as heck beats playing western kentucky. UCF could be in our conference and we'd still end up playing teams like WKU every year. UCF would beat USF pretty bad this year... BTW I thunk Cuse just showed us all who the better QB is, it's Godfrey hands down... True, but UCF is just a stones throw from being WKU.
  9. That's a good point about durability, but I wouldn't downplay the Godfreys speed too much, if you go back and watch highlights from the NC State and Kansas State games he made those D's look slow too... Hell he made NC State look like they were standing still and they are by no means a "slow" non-BCS defense... Godfrey is not a run first QB either, he can pass well and he has a very strong arm... His only downsides are size (like you said) and his inexperence... If he stays healthy he will be special...
  10. Godfrey hands down, and I can tell you that I'm honestly saying that without being a homer... He is the biggest recruit we've had since Culpeper... Remember to that he is a TRUE freshman and the coaches are just now starting to install plays designed around him as the playbook they installed in the summer was intended to be run by both QBs (RoCal was supposed to be the starter this year). He is going to be very good...
  11. You will still be in the same non-BCS boat. We will see...
