    So, let me get this straight...A guy who put up good numbers playing at the JUCO level is gonna come in and be better than a fourth year D1 conference player of year? There is optimism and then there is insanity. This is the latter. So I guess we better get our fill because he will only be here one year if he is that good.

    With so many good to great experienced D1 players in the portal, it is hard to believe we even have to look at JUCO players...talent is talent though. We could be great, we could be terrible...probably won't know until sometime in December.

    Completely agree...Memphis is the only other AAC team with a QB close to Byrum's talent level. Tulane is the most difficult conference road game on paper, right now anyway.

    We weren't getting an at large even if we won today. Losing this game will allow them to refocus for the aac tourney. We can win three in a row next week.

    It's 2/11 and our NET is 103 and KenPom is 112...an at large bid is the longest of longshots...gotta get hot for three days in Texas in March

    Beating FAU and SMU and everyone else might get us in the conversation for an at large, but winning the conference tourny is the most realistic way to the dance this year.
