    If I'm Willie Simmons, I definitely want to beat the snot out of USF. The guy is a fantastic head coach and we should've hired him. Whatever FBS team finally gives him a shot will not regret it.

    Still can’t believe Odom was just a “finalist” and this guy was the final choice. It seems obvious that Odom jumped on VCU as soon as it opened up while we took our time deciding. This is not a confidence-building hire by Kelly at all. Sucks that USF athletics is left up to his decision-making.

    That is one hell of a rebuild job he performed at Kennesaw State. Just wish we had more data on his capabilities as we did with Brey or Odom, hope it wasn't a one-year fluke this year. Seems like another HUGE gamble by Michael Kelly.

    Question regarding the infamous extensions. Do they mean that we’re paying all these fired coaches for what were supposed to be the remainder of their extended contracts? As in we have to keep paying Scott and Gregory multiple years? I remember when Woolard extended Skip, he was crucified. But if its a similar scenario, this situation would seem like that on steroids.

    Oh boy, as soon as that Marquette player let go of that nice-looking game-winning attempt, the thought of "USF gonna USF" ran through my head. Definitely as close as it gets to losing. Can't believe we got a nice thing.
