  1. Charsibb, I respect your opinion, my friend. See you at watch parties this season!
  2. No way in hell this song gets played We're talking about the tune, not the student section singing the song. Plus the state has changed the lyrics, so I think there is no longer a problem at all.
  3. I agree, that's why i suggested an upbeat version. If you think about the song in your head in an upbeat way, it sounds PERFECT for a college football game.
  4. Must be part of their software problems, may have to call the store.
  5. I've always thought it would be pretty awesome to hear the HOT play an upbeat version of "The Old Folks at Home" or sometimes called "Suwannee River" (the state song of Florida) during our games. I don't think any other program in our state uses it and it would bring great state pride during games. Just a thought but would love to hear what people think.
  6. Gonna have to get the green Columbia fishing shirt. Also, have y'all seen this one girl who works there... HELLO! She should be doing the marketing for them.
  7. Strange, all the UCF people up here in DC I know are going to AZ.
  8. Safe to say UCF is #1 in the AAC in regards to "talent."
  9. Per Busted Coverage rankings of girls: SEC caliber: Central Florida A top 15 program nationally, UCF ranks second only to Florida State in the Sunshine State. A slightly-less attractive version of Arizona State girls.
  10. To help our efforts, we must make sure Bill Young, Jr. is elected to the state house, he's a HUGE Bull and is a bright guy.
  11. If I only understood that language you're typing there...
  12. http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2013/10/florida-miscellany.html "Florida and Florida State are closely matched when it comes to the state's college sports loyalties with the Gators edging the Seminoles 24/22. Miami is third at 12%, followed by Central Florida with 9%, and South Florida, Florida Atlantic, and Florida International all registering at 2%.That's a pretty big drop for USF from 2011 when we found them at 8% statewide support, while everyone else is within a couple points of where they were then." I guess having some awful seasons really hurt us.
  13. Numbers according to US News & World Report Florida: USF has around 5,452 undergrad students living on campus (18% of 30,289 undergrad) FSU has around 6,530 undergrad students living on campus (20.3% of 32,171 undergrad) UCF has around 8,511 undergrad students living on campus (16.7% of 50,968 undergrad) UF has around 7,866 undergrad students living on campus (24% of 32,776 undergrad) FIU has around 2,622 undergrad students living on campus (7% of 37,468 undergrad) FAU has around 1,489 undergrad students living on campus (6% of 24,823 undergrad) Notables: Alabama has around 7,679 undergrad students living on campus (24.6% of 28,026 undergrad) Auburn has around 4,035 undergrad students living on campus (20% of 20,175 undergrad) Louisville has around 4,277 undergrad students living on campus (27.2% of 15,727 undergrad) Memphis has around 2,470 undergrad students living on campus (14% of 17,647 undergrad) Arizona State has around 11,698 undergrad students living on campus (19.7 % of 59,382 undergrad) Houston has around 5,222 undergrad students living on campus (16% of 32,639 undergrad)
  14. But you must admit she is VERY awkward when she's on TV and radio(podcast). Sad thing about her is she doesn't have face for TV or a voice for radio...
  15. There is no "exact" definition. Schools like USF (and UCF) get that tag because there are a good # of students that travel long distances and/or are in night classes. It happens in large major metro universities. Working for a University, and looking at USF, its not unfair to call USF a commuter school as long as people recognize its nowhere near the same school it was 15 years ago. The area surrounding campus doesn't help shore up a non-commuter image either If there is not an "exact" definition, this means that there are plenty of "opinions" on a definition. Making it not valid. Once I see a set % of people who "commute" to a campus from 10, 15 miles will I ever respect anyone who uses that term. It's an industry term, with different organizations each having their own definition. (I.E. US World and New, Princeton Review). It's impossible to nail down an exact definition because a lot of schools aren't willing to cooperate with stats like that So it's kind of a BS term?

I know I don't... she's almost as bad as McMurphy was/is. That said, aside from her personal jab, the article was pretty true. McMurphy has more talent in his pinky toe than that AA.

  18. What exactly defines a "commuter school"? I've never seen a true definition with % or real numbers.
  19. I agree Bench shows the best chance for us to have better QB play. While the OL can open up holes for Shaw it can't hold the DL for 4 seconds for the QB.
  20. I'm pretty positive McNeese State could beat FAU. And we're improving, I say we win. 17-7
  21. I'm not blaming Vero for us losing, I just don't see how it benefits us in ANY way. Sometimes you have to realize no benefit and make a cut.
  22. I've never really understood us going to Vero Beach to practice. I know it is supposed to help team chemistry and bonding between players, but ever since we've gone to Vero, I've seen no improvement on the field (which is what really matters). Also, the costs can not be worth it at all. Use the facilities we have. Please, next season, can we skip out on Vero Beach?
