    Dude called the end of the era. You can use fired, resigned, quit or whatever. Two thirds of the people on here gave him ****. He didn't do it because he thought it would grant him membership to the cool kids club, he did it because he thought we would want to know. I for one appreciate it Hem. Good inside info, and thanks to you, I have a free beer headed my way at the start of next season (little bet with the felluh two rows in front of me!)

    Don't hate the idea, but I can't see him leaving. I want somebody who can recruit well in FL. I'm not talking about the #1 recruiting class, but more like Leavitt's last class. Recruiting is what cost Holtz his job.

    Yup. You hit the nail on the head. Doug and Judy heard the name Holtz, wet themselves, and then hired him on the spot. At the time, it was considered a grand slam hire. You guys need to get real. And if it's all about the name, then that MUST mean that a young Bowden is going to be our next coach...
