I really hope that the President of our university is not spending the majority of her time on athletics. That is 180 degrees from the goal of the university and the sports program. Now I have said in the past that with football the sports program represents the school and in society today that dictates the perceived value of our degrees. That should not be, the sports programs should be something for the students, alumni, and fans to rally behind to support the school. The school is not there to support the sports programs. How are these next years critical? Will they shut down the program? Will success suddenly put us in the SEC or ACC? No. Win or lose this is the Tampa team. The benefit to winning is fuller stands, hold our heads high, Perception in the community as a winner when you say you went to USF, and happy on game day.

I think Friday night the "hit hootie" prize should be... "hit Hootie, and start at QB in second half..." I hate the "Rays" pump up the volume guy. We stole that and Longo's walk up music from the Trop. If we had a bigger fan base it would not be necessary. Honestly, saturday never had any energy in the game. The students did not show up, the fans were in mid-season ignore the field form, and the team was dead. I mean, honestly, the fans did not even throw the horns from the beginning of the game. I take my blame there, felt like I was at a business meeting.

You cannot have an easier college football experience than RayJay, with parking, street traffic, concessions, club, etc. They are cheap tickets, and you will not have that at an OCS. you will park at the sundome and walk down to Fowler and BBD. The stadium will hold less, higher ticket prices, no club level. etc.

Really? unless it is built at the dorms, seems these students do not even want to walk to the bus stop for the free ride to the game. If you cannot get alumni to go to the epicenter of the city what makes you think they will drive down Fowler?

The only reason they got O'Leary was that he was hired at ND and then they found he lied on his resume. We need to find someone tainted to get that. Maybe a wife beater, drunk, or sex offender.... I had to travel the week before our home opener, realizing I had not seen my ticket pack I called my rep and was told "oh, they are on hold, you did not pay your bulls club donation". Now, what pissed me off was he spoke to me three days earlier about renewing my basketball tickets and getting WBB tickets. He had my account open, and I asked when tickets would come, he said "oh, they are going in the mail." If I had not called, oh, and the dues were paid in December, I would not have received my tickets even though they were paid in full. All I have to say, never happened when Mike took care of me. This is my third rep in two years.

We should have a ceremonial burning of the funstripes from last year.... hideous.

The other side of this is that when I know the tens of millions that the team(s) make from TV, UA, Corporate sponsorships (CGM, Verizon, Etc.) I put my donation to the accounting school and COBA, not into the sports program.

First game against an opponent this year. I believe White looked better in practice because he was playing against our soft defensive plan. Let him watch tape and he will get a rhythm with Andre and we will see some good passing yards. that will open the run game for Mack. Now, can somebody explain pressure and blitzing to the D.....
