  1. I got my e-mail too. Should I assume I got all four?
  2. Wonder if we'll actually get the seat numbers today and not just the number of tickets.
  3. Should go out today per the notification e-mail sent out earlier and quoted below. Let's see who have the points and who doesn't!! 4. You will be notified if you received tickets on Tuesday, September 4 and if you do receive tickets, your credit card will be charged automatically at that time.
  4. Ha ha I saw that too. It was pretty quick - I think you got all that was captured on tv. I rewound that a couple of times to show my son!
  5. Love your support. I really do. Don't take this the wrong way, but it's time to move to an alumni section. Take that support and spread it to other parts of the stadium. Do you still tailgate with students too? Just my honest opinion. Yes - either that or start investing in Just for Men.
  6. Yeah - like 32,000 in attendance. So that means around 9,000 FSU fans bought the $75 ticket.
  7. So, I looked but did not see one pink flamingo in the stadium. Did I just not see it or is this debate officially closed?
  8. Matt I have one for tonight for you if you still need it (free). I messaged you my cell.
  9. Yes - War Flamingo. And keep them the small inflatable ones and let the student section keep them. Let's not try to force this to be anything other than how it started out as. I sit in the south end zone and will enjoy looking across and seeing the flock of them and telling the story of how they came to be.
  10. I think I'm doing my part. Just bought a new car Saturday and the guy asked if I worked at USF. I didn't realize it but he noticed that I had worn a USF shirt earlier in the week when I met him for a test drive and then again when I came in to buy. Of course during football season I wear the colors every Friday.
  11. Every conference needs a bottom dweller and I'm holding that spot for UCF. They can have a great out-of-conference record, but I want them firmly planted at the bottom of ours.
  12. Those were the good old days .... Used the JBC ticket to bring friend with my daughter and there were plenty of seats around us in our section so never a problem sitting with us. Wouldn't happen today. Yep - and they used to choose two every game to walk out with the ref to the middle of the field to watch the coin toss. I was about 1,000 times more excited than my six year old daughter when she was picked for the homecoming game to do it.
  13. Another indication of the growth of the program. When my kids were little and in the Jr. Bulls Club they got free admission into all the football games and we sat in 124 or 125.
  14. Yes Bulliever - I too went to the ones on campus. Back then there were so few people that you could watch the last part of practice and then the players just walked around and gave autographs.
  15. My daughter walked around and got a bunch of autographs on the schedule poster. I looked and all I saw was girl names. Apparently she was more interested in finding all cheerleaders. They were definately easier and faster to get than the players, so I'll give her that. I got Coach to sign my Notre Dame ticket and actually made it about 30 yards away before realizing I actually picked up his Ray Bans off the table forgetting mine were on my hat! No one even noticed, but his wife was thankful when I returned them. She was very nice taking many pictures for people so they could get the whole family in.
  16. Out of the 10 or more people that have approached me for my extra tickets (should I get them), ALL OF THEM have been FSU fans. Not one Bulls fan yet. Yes - when I get them I will let other Bulls fans know, but I guess our "fans" are waiting to see what happens leading up to this game before deciding to go - just like the huge WVU game years ago.
  17. That's awesome. Did you do this yourself?
  18. So for the first time, I purchased an extra parking pass. I plan to give it to guests that join us for games, but I also understand that if we have an extra pass, all we need to do is show it to the attendent and they will allow us to leave an empty space between our car as though one parked there. Has anyone on here been doing that? If so - any issues? Thanks.
  19. Important question: Is there a Hooters discount card enclosed? Yep!!!! Eureka! I got mine, too. With the Hooters card and the Great Clips discount key tag, these tickets pay for themselves. I'll have to start breaking 'em in tonight. Just got home from using my Hooters card - saved me $15 already.
  20. I just put in my request for 4 and got a confirmation that said I had seats 36 - 39. I know these are not actual seat numbers but wonder if this means only 35 tickets were requested before me by others eligible. It will be interesting to see what numbers others get toward the end of the offer period.
  21. Ahhh, but you didn't bold the "up to," did you? I can read the first sentence to imply that once they are done selling season tickets by the end of August, they will look at how many remaining seats they have. If they have enough for all the folks that renewed by the deadline to purchase 4, great. If not, maybe they allow only 2 per renewal. So they are indeed allowing you to purchase up to 4. I know, that's a stretch, but really - let's see what happens before we imply the athletic department is deceiving us.
  22. Yup, we'll have lots of season ticket holders that will purchase their extra alotment of 4 tickets in order to make a quick buck from the FSU fans that will be clamoring for tickets. You think people would actually be able to make money selling 300 level tickets? I doubt it. Fat chance season ticket holders with points are going to be able to get any lower bowl tickets. They'll certainly make something, assuming demand is going to be there, as speculated. Or they could just sell their lower level season ticket seats and sit in the nosebleeds for this one game to take a payday. Have any of you actually watched an entire game up there (USF, Bucs, Outback Bowl, or God forbid the ACC championship?) What are the seats like? From where I sit they do seem far away from the action. I have; it's a good view to watch things develop Like an afternoon thunderstorm for example.
