  1. Fingers 🤞 If ucif can hire a talented coach like Frost, then anyone can. I’d rather take my chances.
  2. Please, please, please someone take strong and company off our hands. He’s a proven loser.
  3. I am. He's a poor choice. If he were such a great option, another P5 program (like Oregon) would have pursued him as head coach. Too many people see the coach strong from the UF and UL days. Those days are gone. Regardless of all the reasons, he failed at UT. The idea of a complete 180 here with less resources and access to a national championship isnt realistic. There were other candidates with more upside.
  4. Poor choice. Mediocre results in an easy conference. I hope this wasn't the best we could do.
  5. How about your school's head start in playing collegiate football? Wasn't that some sort of an advantage? Typical UCiF. THIS!!!! ucif has played football over 30 years. Yet they forget their sorry past. And the media ignores it. USF had no advantage whatsoever.
  6. Let's not play ucif. Their fans are awful. It's good being 4-0 against them. Don't give them the satisfaction of playing us again.
  7. They do not deserve thanks. Our administration should have found a way to get us out of this trash heap of a conference. And adding the likes of SMU and ucif is definitely not an upgrade. And by sponsoring ucif's membership we helped them while creating additional competition for recruits in the future. Great plan.
  8. You guys seem to believe we are something more than a crappy 5-5 team... We are clearly not and neither is Miami, so let's not praise mediocrity.
  9. Agreed. Nice way to get rolled on the final drive for the goal ahead score by the opposing team. Perfect plan to play five yards off the receivers so the have an opportunity to catch the ball without interference.
  10. we had 5 sacks. we are #2 in the country with 3.5 sacks per game. it's when we go into prevent that things unravel. THIS!!!!!!!!! We stopped doing what worked all game.
  11. Giving them more opportunities to play us only helps them. It's not to our advantage. It's bad enough that we opened the door and invited them in the BE. ECU and USM are much better football programs with classier fanbases. Keep them down as long as possible.
  12. No. And the 'new' BE is not better than the current BE. The incoming schools do not have the academic or overall athletic stature of those departing, particularly Pitt and Syracuse. Fingers crossed that we and the other current BE football schools get picked up by quality conferences in the next couple years. Then the BE can properly focus on basketball.
  13. If true, its really sad how low our administration has sunk to support elevating that school, and now chatting on the phone like best friends. Their fans are absolutely delusional and rude. Is this how they define ensuring USF will be in a better situation than before?
  14. 1) Navy 2) Houston 3) SMU 4) Air Force 5) Boise 6) UCiF
  15. how are we supposed to be successful passing the football when Love and Griffin are not in the game... Bogan goes down in Q1... leaving our receiving staff as Landi (converted QB), Lamar(Converted RB), Bravo-Brown(Walk-on True freshman dropping balls left and right), and Joel Miller (converted RB)... top it all off with BJDs poor decision making and you have a complete passing game failure. This team needs time... Landi had a spectacular catch! Yes, we have injuries, but throwing stupid interceptions, over throwing, under throwing, or throwing behind a receiver exaserbates the problem. Here is a solution. Move B.J. to RB where his great running ability can be fully realized, and give the starting QB job the Eveld. I'd love to argue but I think it'll just be easier to call you stupid. Whatever makes your happy. Way to stay classy.
  16. I doubt BJ did it on purpose. I agree with you. I'm sure he wanted to win, as did the whole team. I just don't believe BJ is the QB to do it.

  18. ... and so few passing yards represents an unbalanced offensive system that is easier to stop. Today was proof of that. We must be able to successfully pass the ball.
  19. I just don't see the positives in this outcome. It reconfirmed that B.J. is a great runner, but has horrible passing/throwing away judgement and inconsistent aim. This is not a new problem, nor are they tied to a playbook. Common sense says don't throw the ball directly to the player in the blue jersey. He did it more than once. Does he really need a coach to tell him that? Same goes for underthrowing and/or overthrowing to his receivers. BJ should be moved to RB, and let Eveld have a shot at starting QB. Perhaps he can do better. The playcalling became vanilla in the second half and the defense went soft. Why? UF wasn't running complicated or trick plays. In fact, they were predictable as we were. Yet the Gators adjusted, and USF's coaches didn't. This game exposed multiple problems with the coaching and QB. This could be a long and frustrating season.
