  1. LOL, legend has it Dougie Fresh learned from him
  2. Well that solves it; there was the thread for t-shirts that said we win Ugly. The bullspen needs one that says we Post Ugly
  3. At a time like this, I am reminded of Spaceballs when they were combing the dessert with the pick.. "We ain't found shi*t" I didn't get one either.
  4. Risk vs Reward.... They probably would lose money marketing to certain events.
  5. Man-you held out this long... I think we can all agree that he was under utilized here...
  6. What happened to water polo?? One of my roommates use to play for USF.
  7. I feel like this is USF's version of America's top model....
  8. I never sweat kids who decommit..... We have to build on kids who love our Uni
  9. If he wants a trip; what a trip Iowa would be for a Florida kid. Love to have him, but I would only want committed kids at he program; Fitch-set back for the offense to learn a new system, but a conservative offense has no place here
  10. There are actually more than you may think. I watched a lot of Baylor this year, and they never took snaps from under center. Oklahoma State didn't against Stanford, and neither did Michigan against VT against OSU. The teams I think of that run a mix are LSU who typically does run a spread, but took a couple of snaps under center. And FSU, who runs a true mix. I do think it would be nice to be able to have a nice mix. But I think we just need to stick with the spread because that is who the players are in FLorida. They are smaller fast guys that can fly. Which is perfect for spreading the field. With all the success the spread offense has, we really don't need to abandon it. Just find the players who can run it correctly. I agree fully with this statement.....its hard to always blame coaching when it's clear the talent is not on par with the other programs we hope to be With all the success the spread offense has, we really don't need to abandon it. Just find the players who can run it correctly
  11. Oh you've got to be kidding me. Oklahoma was the best team going into this year. Look we're they're at now. You're really not making an good arguments. The spread is NOT a failure at USF. We are still a 14 year old program. How have pro style offenses worked at other florida schools?? UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA- Ran the spread offense under Tim Tebow. Won a National Championship and 2 SEC championships. They bring in your prototypical gun slinger in John Brantley. They're 15-11 under him, far from UF standards. Miami Hurricanes- Another pro style offense. Have gone 13-12 in the last two seasons. A team USF has beaten. seriously, why do you think that a pro style offense is necessary when spread offenses are so successful in college? 1. BJ is not Tim Tebow, 2. BJ is not Cam Newton. 3. Brantley was a sqaure peg that they were trying to pound into a round hole. 4. Oregon/Wisconsin was hardly a decisive victory. Neither was Michigan over VT. Just so you know Clemson runs the spread as well. How'd that work out for them? 5. Did Michigan win the B1G? 5. Even running the spread you have to be able to line up in the I or a pro set and run the ball. We are not capable of doing that. 6. LSU -vs- BAMA. I wanted to type this, but didn't have the effort
  12. I think many of us share your pain smazza, but by all accounts-it would appear we have made zero strides in bringing in a prototypical passer. BJ is a great athlete playing the QB position; I think many, probably not all, would like a gun slinger back their....
