    Tried posting a picture in the above post and it didn't work. Essentialy I got a flyer from a local realtor with pro and college schedules for the coming season...UF, FSU, UCF, Bucs and Dolphins. No USF schedule. WTF!!!

    I live in North Tampa and got this in the mail from a local realtor chumming for business. The schedule for the clowns from mouse country and no USF schedule. Seriously?!?!?

    Great article! I certainly hope this is part of our presentation. I'm getting the feeling that if the Big 12 goes in to Florida, it will be to only select one university which makes separating ourselves from the clowns critical.

    We've been in a BCS conference before and they haven't. We're 5-2 against them with a couple of beat downs, better academics and larger endowment. Media markets are close. The only difference is the bouncy house. Perplexed...

    After thinking about this a little more, it appears we were never seriously considered and the university knows it and this letter is just to show the fan base, hey look we tried but they didn't want us. I'm holding out hope that there's more going on behind scenes, but the logical side of me says it is what it is.

    If this the extent of our campaign to get in the Big 12 color me disappointed. I'm hoping there's more back channel activity than this.

    When you read these articles, it's almost like we don't exist. We've actually been in a BCS conference and represented ourselves well despite despite on your young history yet UCF gets all the pub.

    You would think they would support this move. Wouldn't they rather cover a USF - Oklahoma game than a USF - Tulane game?

    USF media support in the Tampa Bay market is non existent. Not only do they not support USF, I believe some of them go out of their way to put us down.

    Right now, if I had to guess, I'd say BYU Cinci Memphis and UH get in.

    Don't forget the pull UF, FSU and Miami have with the state legislators. I would bet they are lobbying behind the scenes to keep us and UCF on the outside looking in. Imagine where things would be in 10 years if USF is in a P5 conference with P5 money. We absolutely would be a threat to them, especially in recruiting.

    I have to believe all of this has been for show. There is no way they had time to do their due diligence on all of these schools in the last week and half. They knew who they were taking long before the the official announcement was made. I don't have a good feeling about it, but hope I'm wrong. Anyways, the start of the season is right around the corner and I'm gonna do my best to not let this detract from my excitement. Go Bulls!
