  2. My bad. It was in the $6mil announcement. ”The new renderings are conceptual and will evolve as the design process continues and more detailed design elements are finalized.” USF shares new on-campus stadium renderings - Tampa Bay Business & Wealth TBBWMAG.COM The University of South Florida will hold its groundbreaking ceremony for its new...
  3. We had a good QB coach one year. Sean King improved QF’s noticeably the one year he worked with him. Next year one of the many idiotic moves was to move SK from QB to RB coach. You could see the drop off in his mechanics.
  4. Just saw that one of his offers was from EASTERN Carolina
  5. Yea, I have no doubt there will be many opportunities to give money in some fashion.
  6. In an update to the USF Board of Trustees, the university confirmed that the stadium is scheduled to open in fall 2027.
  7. Right now come in off 50th to Elm and park under the trees
  8. Nope. And no one ahead of her did. Just like no one ahead of her accomplished these athletic endeavors: Corbett Stadium opened in 2011 The shared baseball and softball complex opened in 2011 The track was remodeled in 2008 to include a new state-of-the-art Mondo surface. It is the same surface used at the Olympic Games and is considered the fastest, safest and most durable track surface in the world. The 55,000 square foot Yuengling Center facility, which includes a 10,500-seat basketball arena and the adjacent volleyball arena (the Corral), has seen over $43 million in renovations since 2000, including replacement of the original Teflon inflatable roof with a permanent structure, and numerous interior upgrades and improvements. The $4 million Frank Morsani Football Practice Complex opened in 2011 and features three full size fields, two made of natural grass and one made of artificial FieldTurf, plus an additional 40-yard turf area for drills. Opened in 2004, the Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center is the main hub for USF Athletics. The basketball practice center opened in 2011 as a two-story, 51,000 square foot facility that provides both the USF men's and women's basketball teams with their own practice courts overlooked by the coaches' office, locker rooms, offices, film rooms, and player lounges, plus offering a shared training room and strength and conditioning facilities. The facility also has: conference rooms, a 4,100 square foot multi purpose area, and an underground tunnel with direct access to the Yuengling Center.
  9. In 2003, under Judy Genshafts leadership USF ADMITTED TO BIG EAST CONFERENCE From 2005... Just six months after USF moved into its $18-million athletic facility, athletic director Doug Woolard outlined a vision for the Bulls' future Tuesday, one that includes new and upgraded stadiums and fields for nearly every sport. Just how much it will cost and how soon it could become reality remain to be seen.

  11. ASSUMING the schools don’t start actually paying athletes there’s no reason to add games. Some schools already get the extra playoff money.
  12. Cyber security and AI are supposed to be the careers of the near future. I’ll throw a couple more out there, SPORTS ACCOUNTING. Would probably require CPA. And a law degree in sports contracts. I’m talking at the high school and college levels.
  13. Not without some reins on the NIL. It’s ridiculous that a college freshman can get more money than a professional. I said “get” not earn.
  14. USF selects construction manager for new on-campus stadium I USF News
  15. He can go anywhere in the world except the USA and collect.
  16. Simply handing money over to an NIL is like buying a high priced hooker. You might get an hours worth of pleasure, but that money is gone. I would set up an endowed fund that would pay in perpetuity, or until whatever new scheme they come along with, then have it roll over to that. Worst case scenario, I think, would be to have it roll in to the general athletic fund.
  17. Bob Hayes set the World Record back in 1964 at 10.06. I remember watching him run by defenders back in early days.
  18. I don't know. I haven't listened to one in a while.
  19. I think they would absolutely have to build a pedestrian bridge over Fletcher.
  20. Assuming the NFL talk is legit, why would any conference entertain expansion now?
  21. Nope. We got our six and will be bringing 4 future BULLS with us.
