  1. Have you ever been there???? It is beautiful... But really **** expensive. I paid $150 for a standing room only seat. It was a Friday nite game against the White Sox, but still...Even the D-Rays games are sold out months in advance.
  2. Jones is also 2nd in the Big East in Blocks, and going into the Seton Hall game he was 5th in the nation...
  3. Hey, stregnth on the O-Line shows with the running game, doesn't it? USF's O-Line was in the top twenty in running offense, wasn't it? I am sure 'smazzy' is going to say that it was all Andre Hall... The stregnth and training regiment has imporved ten-fold since they weight room moved out from the basement of the Sun Dome and into the new facility last year. Also, last time I checked this past year's roster was 70% freshmen/sophs..Of course they aren't going to be as stong as other teams: we are young and they aren't stacked with underclassmen like we are. The longer you are on the stregnth program, the stronger you will be.
  4. I've never been a big fan of the turds who have a really crappy attitude, but for some reason I think that he would be a great addition to this team. First of all, he is a top notch wide reciever, something USF doesn't have. I watched Johnny Peyton play in high school, and I thought he had all of the tools, size, speed, good hands, to be a top notch wide reciever at the collegiate level, but it is apparent he cant catch the **** ball. Second, it would be good for him to get away form his boys there in Tally. I am sure they aren't exactly the best influence on him. If he goes to USF, or even to Shitheel State University he wont have the same influences on him. His boys will be sitting in Tally toking up and Rouse will be somewhere else, hanging around the other football players. Why not take a chance on someone who can come in and instantly make an offensive impact on a team which severly lacks any sort of offensive impact?
  5. Does anyone know why he was kicked off the team at Florida State? What are the chances of him landing at USF?
  6. Exactly TNBulls, I haven't really ever been a fan of the "stars" or any kind of rating value like that. It is like in the NFL draft, a guy can have a great combine, but that has nothing to do with how good he is on the field. You have to watch players and see how they are, and if they are field smart to see if they have what it takes to be successful at the next level, collegiate or professional. I watched the majority of the guys play in the county this year, from the sidelines of the game, and that is why I am big on the players(K. Robinson, J. Fayson, D. Rose, E. Alcin) that I have talked about this year. Some guys have a high rating and I think they are going to be busts at the next lever, like Roderick Jenerette, if they ever make it there. Ratings dont mean a **** thing, ie. Mike Mamulla(Eagles), Tony Mandarich(Green Bay), Charles McRae(Buccaneers)and everyone's favorite, Brian "The Boz" Bozworth(Seattle).
  7. The stars don't really have much of a value. The amount of stars change constantly, because sometimes a kid will have great soph/junior seasons, the crap the bed their final season. Sometimes, a kid is unknown then they have a breakout season and they become all the rage by the time the recruiting process is in full swing. A great example of that is Kylan Robinson, the RB from Chamberlain. He was the 3rd string RB with no shot at any sort of scholarship after the first game of the season, then because of stupidity and injury, he starts the rest of the season. Now he is a top 15, maybe even 10 running back in the nation, with just about every school wanting a piece of him. All of that from a kid nobody knew anything about 5 months ago...
  8. BULLfreak, Ignore what he says.... By every post he has made, it is pretty apparent that he doesn't think at all...
  9. What are you talking about? Hill Played all season, at 3 different postitions... And Grothe redshirted(Like the majority of Freshmen QB's do)...
  10. He'll play guard at the collegiate level. He is a local kid from Hillsborough High School. That's all I have...
  11. He always stirs teh pot, with how USF cant do this, or how USF will never do this and how this guy isnt that good.... All of the garbage gets terribly old after a while...
  12. smazza is an idiot.... his negativity never ceases to amaze anyone.
  13. From the people I've talked to, he's a pretty quiet kid who gets decent grades. He was never a big trash talker and he would go out onto the field and getthe job done. I'm miffed by the fact that USF hasn't offered....
  14. Shut up, I found it, it just moved over 6 inches.
  15. What happened to the link to Greg's Blog?
  16. Josh, Why wouldn't USF offer to this kid? He has a lot of talent, and he lives here locally. It seems like it would be easier for USF to recruit him, being that he is so close to the campus.
  17. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we aren't in the running for any of the kids that are playing today.... Correct me if I am wrong, because I probably am.
  18. Kylan Robinson and Daron Rose? If we have the scholarship to use, and UCONN has offered to Robinson, it seems that it would be wise to try to bring him in. I dont think it would be wise to be lining up against him for the next 4-5 years...
  19. nothing, everyone just thinks smazza is a dork
  20. smazza, you have to be the most negative person EVER. You never see the bright side to anything. Anytime anybody says anything good, you tell them they are wrong. Yeah, USF looked like balls in the bowl game. Yes, the Pat Julmiste Experiment needs to end, but damnit man, there was a reason Matt Grothe was the 2 time 4-A first team QB. Don't forget that he passed/threw for 7000+ yards and 87 touchdowns his last two years at Lake Gibson. Yeah, he was redshirted this year, but it was probably to keep a year of eligibility. He is a weapon. Can you not see that man? Can you not see how bright the future of this team is? This team, the one that was supposed to suck and not do anything, is 70% underclassmen. This team went to a bowl, The first bowl in USF history. Have you forgotten all of this? This team overachieved, a team of kids. Yeah, the offense is rough. Not even the offense, just the passing game. Andre hall is gone, which sucks, but I think that Ricky Ponton did a more than admirable job. The thing is, Ponton isnt coach leavitts favorite RB from the 04 recruiting class, Redshirt Moise Plancher is. You have to stop being a killjoy dood and enjoy USF. How many other teams have excelled as quickly as this team has? We are lucky to be able to have this team and university grow up in front of our eyes. Go Bulls!
  21. PJ should be the starting Tight End next year. He has the size and athleticism, he just isnt a college QB....
  22. Kylan Robinson Highlight Film: http://sunshinepreps.net/oldclips/Kylan%20Robinson.wmv Roderick Jennrette Highlight Film: http://sunshinepreps.net/oldclips/Roderick%20Jenrette.wmv Ed Alcin Highlight Film: http://sunshinepreps.net/oldclips/Edner%20Alcin.wmv
  23. I forgot to mention Kylan Robinson's 400+ yard game. I think it was right around 410 yards. It was against Alonso, which isnt a football powerhouse, but they did make the playoffs.
  24. I went to all of the Chamberlain games this year and watched every play from the sidelines. Here are the rundowns of these kids: Roderick Jenrette: Think Lawrence Phillips. All the talent in the world, but the kid cant keep his butt out of trouble. Jenrette was the starting RB, but lost the job to Kylan Robinson because he was suspended for fighting a kid on JV at the pep rally for the first game. Later in the season he was arrested the day of a game for theft, but still played. He punched a kid from Gaither on the first series, was kicked out of the game, then was suspended for the first round of the playoffs. Again, he has more talent than he knows what to do with, he just doesnt realize it. He played RB and OLB, but would be a better fit in the defensive backfield. Kylan Robinson is a horse. Even against Lakeland while losing their tails, he never stopped. He is decievingly fast because of his size. He rarely went down after inital contact. Most of the time, he looked like a man amoungst boys. Robinson is a stud. Nobody has heard much about him because this is his first year in Florida. He came from Alaska so he is relativel unknown around here. I think he will be a stud at the next level. He is a smart kid with great potential. Ed Alcin is about 6'5 and caught almost everything within his reach, which wasn't much because of the offense Chambo runs. He is tall and fast, but needs to put on muscle, He is very thin. His YAC was usually pretty high because he could juke out the DB's from the other team. Out of those 3, Kylan Robinson is the kid to go after. He is going to be a stud at the next level and beyond. Ed Alcin didn't prove a whole lot, but that wasn't his fault. I would try and stay away frm Jenrette. That kid just has a bad vibe about him. He would yell at the coaches, he has a complete lack of dicipline.
  25. That's this years top 20....and none of them have signed. Most have verbaled somewhere, but you should know how soft a soft verbal is, ie. Dexter McCluster. What are the chances of getting Deron Rose? I saw him play against Chamberlain and he was absolutely dominant. He pancaked just about everyone that lined up against him. This kid is massive.
