  1. Yes. Or Brent Pease, the OC at uf formerly at Boise St.
  2. Why would you not want a good QB to join the team?? Chances are, in a year when he can play he would be better than any other option. Did anyone have complants when Darrell Scott left Colorado and joined USF? He was pretty solid last year, wasnt he? Who give a **** what program he came from; if he wants to be a Bull and lead this team, so be it. He can't be any worse than our 4-year starter that we have now... He's 6'5" with a strong arm. Don't you want the #3 QB out of high school playing for USF? C'mon, fellas...
  3. I thought that everyone wanted the Green and Gold??
  4. You see how much their OCS has helped their program...3-9 in the past two seasons. Whoopieeeeeeeeeee!
  5. 6-6. Losses against Cinci,Pitt (just because USF never beats them) and L'ville because they are just better then USF.
  6. "USF has primarily used a three-man rotation at defensive end, with Ryne Giddins and Tevin Mims starting all five games, but junior Julius Forte has worked with the first-team defense the last two days ahead of Giddins and could start Saturday. "(He) might be. We feel like we have three defensive ends, and we've been playing them all," Holtz said." http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/daniels-still-limited-ankle-holtz-confident Giddens might be the most disappointing player on the team this season. He has shown flashes of good play, but then he stinks up the joint for a game or 5.
  7. Agreed. Maybe in 20-30 years when there are more donors, more excitement about the team and maybe some tradition, then USF coughs up the couple hundred million. Until then...Enjoy one of the top stadiums in the country.
  8. Wayyyyy too much truth and logic and not enough blame on Holtz. Get your **** together.
  9. plenty of people were getting paid 6 times face value for their tickets that is a pretty rare event for a Bulls game Sorry, Mike, I'll have to disagree. This was a huge game, and for some season ticket holders to have sold their seats for even 6 times face value, still makes them pretty fair-weather, in my opinion. Selling a pair tickets in my section would have paid for the season tickets competely...Hard to argue if someone is willing to pay upwards of $300 for a ticket.
  10. very good post. les miles wins with below average QB play all the time. 2010 they go 11-2 Jordan Jefferson had a QB rating of 115 with 7 passing TDs and 10 picks last year kansas state went 10-2 with a QB that had 317 carries and a 3.6 ypc average. his passing and rushing stats w ere worse than BJs great coaches find a way to win give any of those coaches our roster and they easily compete for conference title. LSU also has top talent surrounding their QB's at every position on both sides of the ball. USF....doesn't. LSU has WR's **** near every year who are top picks at the next level. Their ability to run the ball consistently year after year is another contributing factor to their success. They are as deep at RB as any school in the country, except maybe Georgia. LSU also has talent on the defense that every school in the country wants. Last year, they had 5 guys in the secondary who will go pro, plus a defensive line that is full of future pros. I know you were trying to compare QB play, but that's impossible to do when you are trying to compare an elite, national-title contending program with a middle of the pack program like USF.
  11. No...I do remember their defense sacking Ronnie Banks 10 times though Ronnie Banks....Oof. We have has some pisspoor quarterbacking around here, haven't we?
  12. It's sad that an opposing team's fan sees this clear as day, but many on here are still in denial about it. Daniels has no touch. He never has since he's been here. If the guy isn't running or trying to launch the ball downfield then he's useless. As much as our play calling sucks, I believe much of it has to do with the fact that our coaches just don't trust this guy. How can you be a senior QB and still not be able to consistently complete the short yardage passes?? I mean a simple screen pass is like a rubik's cube for this guy. Just like the three quick passes in the flat to t-rex. One was underthrown, one was thrown behind and the one he actually threw on target was dropped.
  13. Well, if theyre playing man on the outside WR's with a safety over the top, that leaves 8 in the box. The LB/DB covering the guy(s) in the slot(s) are considered "in the box" regardless of who they are covering and what position they play.
