I think Dawsey, McCarney, and McG were all brought in during Leavitt's years, if I'm not mistaken. My mistake on McCarney and Dawsey, but I'm just trying to figure who left while under Holtz. Not who brought them in. I know there were a couple of coaches that were held over from the Leavitt era.

Again...In college football perception is reality. All the facilities in the world will do little, if any, good if you can't convince top recruits being a Bull would be a good move for them without a winning coach and program. Not sure what your definition of a top recruit is but we didn't convince a slew of them to be a Bull with a winning coach and program ... I think we'll survive. Don't be an idiot, Mizzou. If Woolard could do it for our pathetic basketball program .... Holtz has plenty of coaches that have moved on to bigger and better things... Dawsey to FSU, Snyder to A&M, McCarney to UF, McGoeghan to the Fins.

Leavitt is an assistant coach of one the the NFL's best defense and linebacking corps... Patrick Willis has been quoted a few times about how much he likes Coach Leavitt. Patrick Willis is a beast of a linebacker so I will take his opinion over yours.... Again, you twist what is said. I say he isn't in college. You talk about how great he is for an NFL team. And about Patrick Willis....He was a beast at Ole Miss which is why he was a 1st round pick, before Leavitt got there. He was a stud in the league, before Leavitt got there. This is like saying that Tom Brady is great because Josh McDaniels coaches him....this season. Brady was great before McDaniels.

I'm suprised at how bad this team is....I thought this year, USF would compete. Year three of Holtz...All of this "senior leadership." All of the young talent. It's all been disappointing.
