  1. I don't think the WVU score will be as high. After the dismal pass attempts against Pitt, Pat will not be allowed to throw the ball which will eliminate at least 2 WVU touchdowns. WVU will stack the box against the run and Andre will eventually score 1 touchdown. We'll kick a field goal on one of the many unfinished drives of the day. Our defense will hold strong until the second half when our offense will give up totally and we'll just punt the ball everytime we have possession. Prediction: WVU - 24, USF 10
  2. These same people are tailgating for an hour or more. You'd think they could wrap it up in time to get in before kickoff. Sadly, they'll probably never understand that the game should be more important than the "experience". What burns me is when I'm double-timing it to get in before the kickoff and I pass numerous tailgaters sitting around with "another" football game on their television. I realize it's a free country and we do need all the fans we can get, fairweather and bandwagoners alike. It just seems like for some the mentality is show up to socialize and watch other florida teams play on television and then maybe make it into the game when that's all done.
  3. Pat knows the playbook and how much is it helping him?? With Andre in there, we're basically run, run and throw on 3rd down if we have to. How hard is it for Carlton to hand the ball to Andre instead of Pat handing it to him? At least Carlton will get some experience to build on for next year. Yeah, my green and gold colored glasses came off during the Pitt game. Our offense is too inconsistent to put up the points needed to win games. It's just sickening to know we have the talent to win but we're lacking in the qb position. The remaining opponents are going to stack the line and key in on stopping Andre because they know we are one dimensional. If nothing else, watching Andre run is worth the price of admission.
  4. What is the difference between starting a freshman quarterback who will make mistakes, but learn from them and build on the future or having Julmiste in there who makes mistakes and then makes them again the next week? We've all ready determined he's awful. Why not just yank him now. With or without him in there, I don't see us winning more than 1 or 2 games the rest of the season. The Louisville game was a fluke, we just happened to hit on all cylinders, but we're too inconsistent on offense. I feel bad for our defense who would have done okay if the offense hadn't turned the ball over twice within our 20. I listened to the whole thing on the radio today and I'm glad it wasn't televised.
  5. I don't have a problem with their comments either. I think all our hopes and dreams of a bowl game rely on our Quarterback. Unfortunately, he's inconsistent. When he has a bad game, the opposing defense can key on shutting down our running game. Andre is a star, but he can only do so much against a stacked line. I know it's easy to pile on Pitt because of their less than stellar performance so far, but this team handed it to us last year. If we don't start off on the right foot in this game (stupid penalties, dropped balls, bad throws), it's going to be a long day.
  6. Do you really think this forehead sloping neanderthal can operate a computer, let alone check "email"? His editorials are in the form of cave paintings that must be translated into words by interpreters.
  7. It looks like the baby has Leavitt hair....
  8. Luckily, we only have another day to put up with the talk and we'll have our results. Hopefully, it's the results we're expecting.
  9. Here's the clip to the speech in Miracle.  I don't have sound editing capabilities, but its not bad either.... http://www.americanrhetoric.com/mp3clips/newmoviespeeches/moviespeechmiracle1.mp3 What code do you have to enter to add the sound player like the Hoosiers clip?
  10. I think we have the advantage in punting. If it becomes a defensive battle like I think it will, Baker should keep them pinned..... In all seriousness, I think Miami is the better team. I'm not saying they have more talent in every area, but I think they have more depth. We won't know how they truly match up until the game has been played. I'm pulling for a Bulls victory. We need to see some consistency from Julmiste. So far he has done what was needed to win, but he needs to go above and beyond in this game.
  11. Let's get the WVU and Pitt game out of the way before we start saying the "B" word.  Our team is very talented, but being as young as they are, I'm not sure if the team that beat Louisville will show up every game. On a sidenote, I finally converted from guest to a real member. Is my signature too big? I don't want to step on any toes. Thanks.
