  1. What we had was two immature fan bases trying to carve out a name for themselves by keying cars, turning over garbage cans, and harassing elderly and pregnant women (witnessed that myself). That is not a rivalry. That's two six year olds playing grown up.
  2. To me, this year is entirely preseason football. Only, we don't know if our team will play or who our opponents will be. I've written it off because it really doesn't matter this year. So, it is an evaluation and development year and I will try to view it as much. That took all the maturity I can muster for a while.
  3. Good. It had all the feel of an arranged marriage from the beginning. Until we were in the same conference, it was just wishful thinking on the part of those who need a rival.
  4. I showed admirable discipline and did not do those things. At least, not all at once.

Its daily increases have already surpassed the highest daily tally reported by any European country during the height of the pandemic there. Florida has also broken New York State's record of 12,847 ne
  9. I am edified, as elevating myself to Moronic has been an aspirational goal of mine! Anyways, it was (slightly) hyperbolic but I judged that, as part of a list, it was close enough. Little did I suspect...
  10. I worked for HCC on Dale Mabry as their Testing Coordinator. Soon after hiring on, they built a beautiful new building and we moved to a multi-room, all glass testing center. We set up two rooms for computer testing (a new thing in the nineties) and ordered twenty computers and associated network hardware. They were delivered and sat in their boxes for at least five years. They were still there when my friend left years after I did.
  11. I'd rather not get into that on this board. If recruiting with "we are one of the reported hotspots in the United States" seems monumentally different to you than my statement then you may be a much better recruiter than I.
