  1. That may be your opinion, but Lane Kiffin disagrees with you. I'm sure you're all aware he once committed to Tennessee, fate would have it that Kiffin and National Power Southern Cal offered and tried to steal him. Fortunately for UCF, that was too far away from home.
  2. While the graphic designer of the front page probably got a demotion, "The showdown in Miami" headline likely refers to the FSU-Miami game. Was there a writeup on that?
  3. That hack Brandon Finley of FlaVarsity.com probably just edits out any mention of "South Florida" whenever recruits say they like the Bulls. That UCF-NC State-lovin' SOB!!! **** him.
  4. According to a Rivals member, a walk-on fullback has emerged: Neal Bittong. And he's a bulldozer of a blocker for freshman RB Kevin Smith, who seems to also have the starting job lon lock down now w/ two 100+ yard games. I think one of Memphis' starting DL was suspended also.
  5. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Miami left the Big East for the ACC. Likewise, they didn't sign a "year in and year out contract". Congrats on the one fer one though. Just wondering, but does your admin have UM connections, cuz that really is a sweet deal for you?
  6. Considering the article is about "Ticket Sales" for new members, I'd assume the exlusion of USF's specific numbers has little to do w/ your program's profile, but moreover that your sales are not significantly Up. It would be some pretty **** bad journalism to exclude you on purpose. The way I read the article, the author pretty much explains WHY (he believes) your ticket are not up, like the others'.
  7. Next weekend we'll have no time for a computer, considering the 40,000 half naked drunk females running around the Churchill Downs infield ;D
  8. Congrats on the cover Bulls! Buying online certainly can't hurt, but you'd think these distributors could come up w/ a better method of marketing research than basing it on online sales that include shipping costs. In the meantime, you guys might wanna consider contacting the USF Oracle to get the word out to students.
  9. UCF granted the release, and they wanted to transfer to USF. Seth just wasn't willing to take Stephen.
  10. UCF's tentative 2007 OoC schedule: @ Tennessee @ Florida @ Pitt MTSU If UCF builds the oncampus stadium, I'd expect them to drop the one-road-game Tennesse deal, in favor of adding a winnable home game. The stadium forcasts are based on 6 annual home games... we're not dropping Florida, and Pitt is giving us a home game in 2008. But I've never heard of the no-transfer rule re OoC teams either...
  11. Our WRs can hang w/ just about any program. This Spring, O'Leary was quoted as saying that Moffett has grown up, and that he's actually pleased w/ him. And that's great news in my book, because I don't recall at any point last year O'Leary even remotely insinuating he was happy w/ any of the quarterbacks. Our problem is going to be pass protection; it's still a young line. But if/when it breaks down, I still don't expect any more backwards running from Steven!
  12. Well up here, that's the buzz... Courrier-Journal also suggests aspirations of luring the Final Four. If this arena gets built downtown instead of at the fairgrounds, Louisville -- bar none -- will be THE best college sports town in America.
  13. Trying to build one that will bring the Final Four back home, baby! From '58 to '69, Louisville hosted it 6 times. Will help pay for it, and also the home court advantage would be sweet. Out of those 6 hosts, (1.5 hours-away) Cinci and ( 1-hour away) UK each walked out as champs.
