  1. Yep, on Friday I got all the way to the finish line about 4-5 times and got an error every time I tried to complete the payment. Better get that fixed!
  2. Great job to bounce back and win two after the awful start on Friday night. Home plate umpire was terrible.
  3. I had the same issue on Friday. Had to call my ticket rep.
  4. SCF - so you must be a Bradenton/Sarasota guy? You need to take a look at Saint Stephen’s - the best college prep school in the area! Full disclosure, I’m the marketing director there, but it’s fact. My daughter attended Saint Stephen’s and then USF’s Honors College - finished with two bachelor’s, Phi Beta Kappa, Fulbright Scholarship for master’s in the UK, etc. - and we paid almost zero. Saint Stephen’s is pricy, but we do offer financial awards to worthy students through our endowment. If you need more info, I’m happy to talk!
  5. Props due to John Montes - big slam today and he’s doing a great job helping us compensate for not having Boser in the lineup.
  6. Really good start from Cebert today. He’s picking it up.
  7. Bringing in a great player who’s also the SEC scholar-athlete of the year? That’s ELITE!
  8. We don’t have a No. 1 starter - a Friday shutdown guy. Mink and Cebert would be OK Saturday and Sunday guys, but you need that Friday guy who’s going to consistently give you 6-7 innings and only allow 2-3 runs. If we had that like we’ve had in past years (Jasiak, Herget, Strezlecki, Fontanez, Gorham, Roberts, etc), we’d at least have a chance.
  9. All we can really say so far is thank God for those four games against Marist (5-14). If we didn’t have those, we’d be in a real world of hurt.
  10. I want so much to watch and root for this team - and there’s plenty of at-bats left tonight - but their 3-1 lead is now a 7-3 deficit in the third. We simply can’t win with this pitching staff. I don’t see any signs it gets better.
  11. Interesting: 6-2 Maye Toure - Rhode Island - Sr. 6-1 Carter McCray - Northern Kentucky - Fr. 6-4 Caitlin Weimar - Boston University - Sr.
  12. He recruited nothing but JUCOs . . . and Dominique Jones for Stan Heath.
  13. For the record, we’re still FGCU’s b—— After last night, we’re now 8-21 overall and 1-9 over the past 10 against the former USF Fort Myers campus.
  14. . . . of the male cheerleader for Oviedo CC to the left of our basket in the second half when our guys were shooting free throws? Just when you thought that bunch couldn’t possibly embarrass themselves - or their families - any more, you get something new. If there’s no clip of it out there already, I’ll see if I can do a little video capture off the replay with my phone and post when I get a chance.
  15. Where they’ve played really well this season - beating three ranked teams - while they’re 3-7 on the road. If we aren’t able to beat them, what a horrible end to a wonderful season.
  16. Win 24 games, go 16-2 and win your league and you get a road game in the NIT? What a f-ing joke.
