I can’t say I knew much about our new “style” of offense coming into the season, but I am a bit surprised. We run plays fast, yes, but I guess I thought there was going to be more variation in the play calling, more wrinkles. It looks pretty standard to me, we just line up and snap the ball quicker. I’m not looking for a bunch of gadget plays, but this seems pretty vanilla and Byrum has made most of the bigger plays improvising on his own when that bad o-line breaks down every other snap. Everybody runs tempo now, so I guess I don’t see what’s so unique about Golesh’s take? Am I missing something?
