  1. Mayo homers leading off the ninth to put us back in front!
  2. He wasn’t helped by the error - could have got out of the inning - but inherited a 5-1 lead and . . .
  3. I tried to send you a message through the site, but it said you can’t accept messages. I’m happy to discuss any time! If you want to talk, give me a call on campus - (941) 746-2121. Go Bulls!
  4. Sounds like a GREAT show - all tribute acts? We’re starting to get noticed. Lots of big gigs upcoming the next three weekends!
  5. Relief pitching was really good and Archie was good once he settled down. I think he retired the last seven he faced.
  6. The pitch was riding in on him and he lifted his arms up - my take was to get the ball to go under his arms - but it hit him and they called it an intentional act, called him out and cost us a run with the bases loaded. But we stranded FIFTEEN again today. Have to do a better job of hitting with guys on.
  7. Yep, on Friday I got all the way to the finish line about 4-5 times and got an error every time I tried to complete the payment. Better get that fixed!
  8. Great job to bounce back and win two after the awful start on Friday night. Home plate umpire was terrible.
  9. I had the same issue on Friday. Had to call my ticket rep.
  10. SCF - so you must be a Bradenton/Sarasota guy? You need to take a look at Saint Stephen’s - the best college prep school in the area! Full disclosure, I’m the marketing director there, but it’s fact. My daughter attended Saint Stephen’s and then USF’s Honors College - finished with two bachelor’s, Phi Beta Kappa, Fulbright Scholarship for master’s in the UK, etc. - and we paid almost zero. Saint Stephen’s is pricy, but we do offer financial awards to worthy students through our endowment. If you need more info, I’m happy to talk!
  11. Props due to John Montes - big slam today and he’s doing a great job helping us compensate for not having Boser in the lineup.
  12. Really good start from Cebert today. He’s picking it up.
  13. Bringing in a great player who’s also the SEC scholar-athlete of the year? That’s ELITE!
  14. We don’t have a No. 1 starter - a Friday shutdown guy. Mink and Cebert would be OK Saturday and Sunday guys, but you need that Friday guy who’s going to consistently give you 6-7 innings and only allow 2-3 runs. If we had that like we’ve had in past years (Jasiak, Herget, Strezlecki, Fontanez, Gorham, Roberts, etc), we’d at least have a chance.
  15. All we can really say so far is thank God for those four games against Marist (5-14). If we didn’t have those, we’d be in a real world of hurt.
  16. I want so much to watch and root for this team - and there’s plenty of at-bats left tonight - but their 3-1 lead is now a 7-3 deficit in the third. We simply can’t win with this pitching staff. I don’t see any signs it gets better.
  17. Interesting: 6-2 Maye Toure - Rhode Island - Sr. 6-1 Carter McCray - Northern Kentucky - Fr. 6-4 Caitlin Weimar - Boston University - Sr.
