  1. Our WR coach became Head Coach at Central Michigan. Our OL coach/Associate HC became OL coach at FSU. Our TE coach/recruiting coordinator became co-offensive coordinator at Tulsa. Current QB coach/ST coordinator Bill Stewart is keeping the ST duties, plus he'll coach TE's and become Associate HC. Cornerback coach adding recruiting coordinator duties. Still need a WR coach. We've reportedly offered an awesome coach/recruiter but he might end up on the new Steelers staff.
  2. West Virginia Turnover Margins 2002: +19 2003: +18 2004: +4 2005: +14 I'm inclined to think it's more coaching than luck.
  3. You forgot to mention Vick elbowing our coach in the side of the head and tossing the ball in our cornerback's face. If VT had been serious about zero tolerance he would have been kicked off the team after that game.
  4. All 16 schools are allocated 500 tickets. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050911/SPORTS0201/50910015
  5. All bowls will adhere to the conference's "one-win" rule whether they select a BIG EAST team or Notre Dame. Any selection of a team with fewer victories must be within one win of all other bowl eligible teams. League squads must be within one conference victory. For example, a team with a 4-3 BIG EAST record cannot be chosen before a team with a 6-1 league mark. Overall records are used for comparison when a bowl is considering Notre Dame in conjunction with a conference team. http://www.bigeast.org/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/bcs-bowl-lineup.html
  6. Beating us would guarantee you guys Charlotte because a 3-4 UConn team could not be picked over 5-2 USF. The one win rule applies to overall record when it involved ND but conference record when it is 2 conference teams.
  7. They were picked 15th. It will take a miracle for Louis Orr to be back next year.
  8. Penn St. won't move, but they were much more successful as an eastern independent playing schools that are now in the Big East than they have been as a Big 10 member.
  9. These were the BE game of the week affiliates for last week. It's pretty much the same stations every week. 10. We would have split with Florida St. if we had beaten Florida in the Sugar (we got killed). Georgia Tech split with Colorado in 1990.
  11. That's not an error. Since Louisville is no longer in his top 30 it doesn't count as a top 10 or top 30 win. Unfair, but that's the way it goes. Anyway, congrats from WVU and beat Miami and we'll take care of the castrated Turkeys.
  12. NBC would have the rights to home games but not road games and probably not neutral site games.
  13. 31. WVU 41. Pitt 45. Louisville 50. USF 58. Syracuse 68. Rutgers 78. UConn 93. Cincinnati according to Rivals
  14. The Big East has a deal with the Motor City to send a team if the Big 10 fails to qualify enough teams. That has happened pretty frequently lately.
