  1. Tickets go on sale in about 50 minutes... UCF Knights Mens Basketball vs. South Florida Bulls Men's Basketball Tickets Mar 19, 2024 Orlando, FL | Ticketmaster
  2. And UCF is on spring break next week. Hope we can get about 6 busloads of students up there Tuesday night. GO BULLS!
  3. UCF's site says Tuesday at 9pm. USF and ESPN don't have it listed yet.
  4. Mods, please delete this duplicate topic. Sorry for the confusion. I often seem to double post a new topic after I get an error message that says the system can't process the request.
  5. When do we find out if the game is Tuesday or Wednesday?
  6. NEVER MIND. I screwed up when I heard them say it on tv. I think the only real change is the lane from 12 to 16 ft wide like the NBA. Sorry dudes.
  7. Only change for 2024 is expanding the foul lane from 12ft to 16ft like the NBA.
  8. NEVER MIND. See my other post below. Yikes... 4 quarters 22 ft. 3 point line (from 20'9") 18 ft. wide lane (from 12)
  9. After the first couple opt outs, these guys have us playing at LSU... NIT Bracketology: Our Latest Look at the Expected Field – The Barking Crow THEBARKINGCROW.COM We’ve got our 1-seeds. Mostly.
  10. How about these? No matter how many timeouts you have left, you can only use 1 in the last 45 seconds. On your team's 3rd foul (and beyond) in the last 60 seconds of the game, the team fouled on gets 2 points and inbounds the ball. Done. Let's move on.
  11. Rejected AQ bids should not be replaced with #3 in their conference. If the conference can't put pressure on the schools to accept the bid, then screw 'em and open at large bids that host the first game. Looks like that would be 7 slots right now. Man, i hope we host UCF Tuesday or Wednesday night at the Foam Dome.
  12. If we're in the top 4 outside of the 12 AQ's, then we host the first game, right?
  13. Okay, here's the story. While I was at USF, I worked in the box office of Tampa Theatre selling tickets in 1978 and 1979. I was working that day when they arrived in a van around noon after playing in Athens at UGA 2 nights before. They came up to the box office and asked me where to park and then invited me to join them for lunch at Woolworth's. They asked a bunch of questions about ticket sales, their popularity in Florida and general chit chat. I was a big fan at the time so it was pretty great.
  14. Haha. Don't know their badge numbers, but their names were Sting, Andy and Stewart. We all had cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes.
  15. Great band. Off topic, but I had lunch with the Police at the Woolworth's lunch counter in downtown Tampa on May 3, 1979.
  16. There should be 6 slots left open after all the AQ's and At Large bids based on NET are a given. Those 6 slots should be based on eye test, other rankings, conference record, end-of-season momentum, etc. When all the selections are announced, next to each team should be a label of AQ, AL NET, AL COM (for committee, not NET decision). The committee could focus on seeding and matchups for the given teams while spending more time determining the last 6 in.
  17. I like it. Kind of like penalty shots/kicks in hockey and futbol.
  18. That's the new rules. We would be hosting them in the old days, but they'll get an auto qualify home game as the number 2 team from a P6 conference. "Power" will always come back to haunt us until we're in the club.
  19. That was 5 hours ago but he gets a pass. At one point years ago I too said I was gone but didn’t even last 24 hours as many on this board have also done. It simply gets in your blood.
  20. Agree. But if they made the dance, then he’d coach? SMH
  21. Unfortunately, we don't have a former Commander in Chief that would make our pitch to the ACC. We do have Mike Kelly though.
