    This tells me there is some format/process to determine who the home team is. Thanks John. This tells me there is no format/process after the first round. You "put in" to host and hopefully the NIT gods approve it?

    So how is the home team for the next round selected? If Villanova wins, do they automatically get the home game? If VCU wins, do they get the home game because they beat #1? I know there is no "seeding", but is there any rhyme or reason to who's at home from here on out? Or is it just a random decision by the NIT once the teams are set? So many questions. GO BULLS!

    I don't see how ECU and Memphis help with the west expansion. However, taking SDSU, OSU, WSU and Tulane could shut us out.

    Now we've gotten way off topic, but another story.. I lived on Iota 1 for 3 years starting in August, 1975. Just before Christmas break each year, I kidnapped my parents' Sing Along with Mitch Christmas Album. We would bring a record player and amplifier to the Andros cafeteria and lounge a couple nights in a row and blast it during dinner and in the lounge at night. The Saga manager (can't remember his name) was so nice to put up with us.

    Wow. Lots of tickets still available. You can still easily buy 4th through 6th row on the sideline opposite the benches for $20. Wish I could make it, but it's not in the cards.     Here's my question... If unseeded USF beats 4 seed UCF and unseeded VCU beats 1 seed Villanova, who gets the home game in the second round? I'm guessing it would be USF at VCU because they beat a higher seed?

    Brings up a good question. Only half the teams are seeded so who gets the home game in the second round between 2 unseeded teams?

    Anybody get an email or notice to buy tickets in a USF section? I've seen nothing and it looks like they are not for sale at your USF ticket account under the buy option. Looks like a lot of seats are on hold on ticketmaster and I was just wondering about a USF allocation. Never mind, I'm not messing with driving over. Hope we have an okay showing.

    I'm thinking the NIT thought that guaranteeing home games to the top 2 available in each of the P6 would help with teams considering opting out. Kinda blew up in their face. They just pissed off other teams deserving of a first-round home game.
