  1. Last time I went to that dump in Orlando, I brought bottles beers, and the cop sat there and watched me as I poured everyone of them out. So I have learned my lesson and will cans tomorrow.
  2. Everybody is very upset with today's loss and the way that the offense has been truly offensive to watch for about...3 years, but we all need to be there on Saturday to support this defense who has played its heart out this season after a down year last year. See you all at the WV game.
  3. After traveling with the team, everybody showing up at 11 might be a little early. Three hour game = 6:30pm, Leave stadium=7:30pm, Load plane (how far is airport from stadium?? Coule be long way up there) = 8:30pm-9:00pm, fly =11:00pm-11:30pm, unload plane and drive from airport 12:00-1:00.
  4. SATURDAY’S WEST VIRGINIA AT USF FOOTBALL GAME POSTPONED DUE TO HURRICANE WILMA (October 22, 2005) The Big East Conference announced this evening that the football game between West Virginia University and the University of South Florida that was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 has been postponed due to concerns about Hurricane Wilma. The game was to be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. at 7 p.m. The league is investigating alternative dates. The new date of the game will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 20. USF students, alumni and fans are encouraged to visit www.usf.edu for details on the status of various Homecoming events this week.

  6. One of these events already happened at the building with Tranghese, but it was invite only.
  7. Athletics does have the rights to sell the name of the dome and have talked to prospective companies about doing so. This is along the same lines of how they sold the name of the ticket office to the St. Pete Times.
  8. The problem with the storming of the court was the fact that the people storming the court listened to what security told them. It is common sense for security to tell the students to stop in the walkway and wait for Charlotte to leave the court, but there were 15 other ways for the students to get to the court when the clock hit :00. Just my opinion of the entire thing.
  9. Tonight was the night where football invites high school juniors to the game and have a meet and greet with them and eat before going over to the game. They have done this at the last basketball game for a while.
  10. What I like about this whole conversation is the term marketing department. The department consists of one person. I know many do not approve of some of the things that he has done, but marketing for a DI program should have more than one person involved. There is an Assist. AD for Sales and Marketing as well, but they have made it his responsibility to sell the tickets, so there is nobody going after the students.
  11. Falling apart in OT, but that can happen when we play 5 players 30 plus minutes. Good effort by the ladies and Coach Fernandez though. down 7 with 2 left.
