That’s been a great betting strategy for us when we go down, setting up for the comeback win
It's crazy. When we are favored, I usually wait for game to get started, wait until we go down, abd then make the in game bet.. It will catch up with me i'm sure, but I plan to keep doing it.

I placed my bet late in the game with Bulls down by 5, $10 to win 37.50! Did the same when we were down 13 at half the other night.

No kidding... However its a sellout (DId I really just say that????!!!!!)

I graduated USF in 1990 and saw the rise of MBB under Bobby Paschal. It was a fun time and at that time I wasn’t aware USF sports were cursed Since then there have been spurts of success but nothing sustained. I am having trouble believing what I am seeing. Every time I tune in to a MBB game I expect the wheels to fall off and we lose that game and then the remainder. That would put me safely back in the dungeon of what we call USF athletics. It isn’t just MBB either. I expect the same for football. However, something in the back of my mind is telling me we may have just turned the corner…if I could just let myself believe. I’m not getting any younger at almost 57. Maybe this is the beginning of the rise of the “sleeping giant”…those older like me know we have been hearing that phrase for decades. Maybe this is it. Believe, believe, believe!!!
Been on the same ride my friend... 57, and still wanting the "sleeping giant" to come to fruition.

Agreed. The idea the aac winner could sneak into a 12 team playoff is very nice! Dream Big!

The Big Ten would have no interest in Clemson. They also are not AAU. UNC would be far more interesting to them.
As for FSU, their big issue is they have no accredited PhD programs for engineering without partnering with FAMU. The Big Ten is massive into Engineering and USF does have a strong engineering focus. USF also has a superior medical school compared to FSU and the best Nursing School in the state for a public institution.
I have long thought (and this is informed as I have a lot of Big Ten family members and work with Big Ten school's athletic departments for my job (and other conferences - USF, UF, Georgia Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, USC, UNC, Duke, Alabama, Auburn are just a few of my clients)) that if the Big Ten poaches the ACC, they will go for Duke, UNC, and Virginia. Duke and UNC would be the priorities. The Big Ten has football down. They would go for basketball and other sports.
Have not been told this officially or anything, but that is the vibe I get. FSU certainly could force a change but I am not sure the Big Ten is interested. Logistics also matter and it is a heck of a lot easier to get to Tampa or even Orlando if UCF ever climbs the ladder.
Another dark horse would be Tulane. They have the history. They have the academics. Less likely, but with their growth as a program, they are catching some eyes.I am only echoing what many upper FSU boosters have told friends I know.. I hope that you are right. Either way ACC or Big10, just get us out of AAC

FSU was close to AAU membership and should get it next go around. Let's set our goals to more realistic conference. Clemson and FSU to Big10. USF and Tulane to ACC. If two more leave ACC, then add Memphis and .... The ACC surviving and thriving with us in it is the most realistic hope.

I think we would have won a few more games with him (and thus maybe would have saved his job for another year), but it wasn't just that he never could get the right defensive staff. He was an awful gameday coach and could really only get the team up to play "big games" like UF.
Bottom line, he was a "hands off" coach. During most time outs he walked about aimlessly and was not involved in many huddles or sideline conversations.

Thanks Brad, at this point I am sure it's too late to order through USF.

Just curious, which sections are USF fans sitting in. Chance we may do a quick road trip. Thanks

This old man may channel his Leavitt/Taggart road trip self. Thinking of getting a few crazieas like myself, hitting the road by 6am, arriving ib UAB around 130, tailgate for 2.5 hours, do the game, and then drive back. This coach and team have brought me back to hope on the road.

He knew what he was getting into. The casual fan will start to follow a winner. The fact that this was the 3rd home game in a row also hurt. I am hoping after 2 away games the crowd continues to grow. There have been sooooooo many losses the last few years. Winning will fix most things. I will not miss a game, neither will my crew. I am pretty sure you split the next two, start the game at 7pm, the crowd will be larger (especially the student section).

Agree. MK has been connected to the ACC ties for a long time. Adding Lacrosse, building stadium, and not wanting to put "Travel Whammy" on programs for another conference makes sense to wait for ACC.
