  1. It will be interesting to see what ends of happening at Colorado. I think with Sanders for most is either they love him and they blame failures on players or they hate him and blame it on him. I think the truth is in between, there were personnel issues but I also think coaching was also an issue. Time will tell. In any case I’m hoping our coaches ca; build any players that choose to come here.
  2. The more things change in football , basketball at USF, the more baseball stays the same.
  3. I think eventually FSU/ Clemson will leave with some type of exit agreement. The question becomes does the ACC add anyone to replace them and would Miami object to USF being added. I think what we have been hearing lately, is most likely scenario. ACC needs to get ESPN to extend tv rights to 2036. Adding schools that might take less in payout would help add revenue for those remaining
  4. Well interesting that your link says that the 99 year agreement meant an exit fee of two years revenue or $80 million. We do not know what the new 99 year agreement exit fee agreement but assuming is the same then that’s about similar 80-90 million exit fee. The fact that this is NOT written in Utah’s agreement means they aren’t bound by it. Regardless the reality is that the Big12 and ACC revenues are close enough that it really makes little sense for one going to the other. WV fits the ACC geographically but that’s about it. Academically they do not and if you look as who the ACC has added that means something. Cal, Stanfordcand SMU are certainly better academically than WV. Would a Big12 team under that 99 year deal pay 80 million to move to ACC? Doubt it.
  5. I think the Miami game will be huge on where the season goes. A win and we are in playoff conversation. A loss and that becomes less likely even if we win AAC. 1. It will be at home and it could be close to a sell out 2. Very likely that it is televised as part of AAC TV contract 3. ACC will be watching
  6. Not entirely correct. Oklahoma and Texas never signed that 99 year membership. That was done with the new contract by the remaining members and the newcomers to stabilize the league and promising they weren’t going to leave. Utah got a special deal where they didn’t sign to that. How would that affect anyone outside of Utah trying to leave remains to be seen.
  7. When have they ever gone down? Maybe one year, but the trend has always been up. I bought my first new car in 1982 a Camaro for less than 10k
  8. Don’t think WV will be it. First from what I heard ALL the B12 schools signed off on a long term GOR. I believe Utah was the only one that went in with a special note that said they didn’t give up those rights. If you look at ACC after FSU/ Clemson leaves, is a more academic conference outside off Louisville, so I’m thinking If they keep that ESPN contract deal, Utah is the most likely to bail out.
  9. Pretty much what I have been saying all along. The ACC will probably get ESPN to guarantee contract at full value for all current schools until 2036. FSU/Clemson would pay some exit fee and with this type of deal it keeps BigTen from taking anyone as ACC retains tv rights. This is best deal for ACC to not lose more schools. Now the next question is do they expand. I would say they do and new schools will not get full amount and that’s extra money those remaining will get. You mean BigTen. No ACC team is leaving for B12
  10. Nice to see them winning, but I been fooled before. Let’s hope it continues and we don’t end up in that familiar .500 and middle to lower end of conference which seems to be our M.O.
  11. I’m sure he will figure it out. But we needed a big guy like him to match inside with teams like UAB that pounded us inside this year.
  12. USF got the big man we lacked last year. Good get
  13. How much longer will USF put up with this **** show?
  14. Well VCU deserved the win. We struggled rebounding inside and Miguel really had probably his worst game of season. Still team fought hard till end. Great unexpected season. Lets hope we keep coach and players and get some big man in portal
  15. Let’s hope so. Our defense really struggled vs average + QBs. Charlotte and Syracuse were really QB less in last two games
  16. To protect my health,I have decided to not follow USF baseball any longer, until we have a new HC.
  17. I believe even last year or the one before we were among the worst three point shooting team in nation
  18. Win the whole thing and send a message for next year. Wish Miguel was staying for one more.
  19. Watched the game. It was painful to watch. UTSA is not good, but we are pretty bad offensively. Let’s hope Jose can get some transfers to help team offensively and that Puisis is back healthy
