  1. Parking next to the stadium and across the street (parking for softball) is reserved for big donors. People with season tickets get a pass for surface parking and garages near the stadium. Walk-ins and students can park for free about 1 mile from the stadium. We also have free shuttles to and from UCF-affiliated apartment complexes. The season ticket price has an associated donation that gives you access to the desired seat and parking spot
  2. Don't you guys lose your QB for the future with McClain transferring? Is Bohannon good for 2 years or just 1?
  3. What do you guys know about the Bulls going to the ACC? It is being discussed in Warchant but I don't have access. Nice to get into a P5 conference without having to fly across the whole country. https://floridastate.forums.rivals.com/forums/the-tribal-council.32/
  4. It is the State of Florida that caps the amount paid to $200K. FSU, UF, UCF and USF had players die during summer conditioning work-outs
  5. I just read an article about the feasibility study for your OCS from 2018: 1. Do you guys really pay $400K/game to rent the stadium? If so, you may be losing money with every home game. 2. The study mentions $10M extra revenue/year with an OCS, which seems low (UCF makes between $2M and $3M per home game) and a 50% increase in attendance. What was management thinking?
  6. The National Championship claim was a great marketing move and kept UCF in the news for almost 2 years after beating Auburn (almost for free). Even now, almost every article you read mentions it.
  7. You guys care and, for what I’ve seen, have some big donors on this site. Are they fake (only donate the minimum to get tickets) or doesn’t the school listen to boosters?
  8. Remember, we are all boosters. I think the guy found the company that offered the designs for fully customizable steel and aluminum stadiums and presented the idea to UCF. FAU used the same company but they went smaller. BTW, I think FSU’s and UF’s stadiums were built that way (or at least partially)
  9. Came by yesterday and saw you were having real conversations so here it goes: the other Knights explained why we had to build the stadium. It was a no-go due to the price tag but somebody found the erector set in Amazon for $65M (see, we don’t care. We love our rust bucket). Just by building the OCS, the attendance went from 10,000 fans plus 1,000 students to 30,000-35,000. Donations went from $2M to $10-12M per year. All of this after the other 0-fer season we had with GOL. I still remember all the feelings that first day going around campus with other 50,000 UCF alums and fans. The colleges had events in each building and it was like going back in time.
  10. You can click on the link posted by SquareKnight and find UCF (#55) and usf (#61). If you click the school names, you get the data from 2005 to now. Are you guys really giving usf only $2M/year? everything else looks similar. You can see how our "erector set" allowed UCF to catch up to you
