  1. Sorry...I *missed* the sarcasm font : ) Am I even allowed to apologize for a misunderstanding on this board?
  2. This is like saying...we fired the executive leadership but hey...we kept the mailroom staff for some continuity. I know grad assistants have serve a purpose in the process but they’re really low on the totem pole. CJS is 100% starting from scratch.
  3. Not that our assistants were lighting the world on fire...but zero continuity between staffs has to make this harder. Let’s hope the guy *truly* has a vision and plan for this...or he’s flat out crazy. Maybe we need that...
  4. Haha. My friend/co worker made this. Glad to see it resurfacing as a semi creepy meme.
  5. Agree with this. I watch quite a bit of UF football because I did growing up (Dad is alum) and old habits die hard. Franks wasn’t good. He seems like Blake 2.0 for USF.
  6. The optimism comes from multiple people (MK, CJS, etc) all seeming sharp and on the same page. This doesn’t seem like the typical USF thrown together half baked past. It’s different. I mean..MK called Dabo and got this whole thing rolling. Could you imagine Woolard doing that? I’m not sure he could even spell USF.
  7. Zimmerman also has an entire degree program in his name out of the Business School.
  8. LOL. Obviously. No one told him people aren’t nice to USF football...ever. It’s a bad look from him.
  9. I’m new and no ones been mean yet...but feel free to start now?
  10. I just read the statement Dabo made about Jeff Scott. He’s was talking too positively about USF. The whole thing feels weird...
  11. Make sure you pad his resume a bit. Also...be vague. i.e. Experience: turned USF football program around in three seasons. Just don't mention which direction....
  12. Agree 1000%. Charlie never seemed like he cared much based on hi demeanor. What this program needs is a good washing culture change. I'd be good is Scott brings us some of Clemson's culture. The danger is he sets expectations too high. This feels like a multi-year process.
  13. Fair. It’s too early for Heupel. I was also thinking Norvell, Fickell as well. Though Fickell doesn’t have a championship yet.
  14. I’m surprised that we were able to pull Jeff. I didn’t think this job was attractive enough to get someone from one of the top 4 programs in the country and one that reportedly has one of the best cultures in CF today. Hiring an up and coming coordinator is the strategy that has generically worked for C. and other programs in the conference The big concern is that he hasn’t called plays. The problem with CJL is that I can’t tell if he’s relevant anymore. I know that the circumstances around his dismissal were messed up...the kid in the middle of it is dead and his Dad had some major issues. I was there for those huge CJL games and I’ll never forget them. But it feels like the expectation is that he would come here and stay here and be great. . I don’t know if USF will ever be able to get that coach until there is an actual possibility a non P5 team could win an NC. An NC is practically impossible in the current system.
