  1. If WKU takes it 75 yards to the house on a jet sweep to start the game then I’m going to freaking lose it.
  2. It’s painful that this worst case scenario is now my expected USF path based on the past 5 years.
  3. The ACC has to expand by at least 2; if not 4. Here are the options: UConn USF SMU Tulane Memphis I don’t see how we don’t end up in the Top 2.
  4. They are going to need that lazy river after a Saturday night game in Boulder followed by a Thursday night game in Provo.
  5. It ends with us kicking off the 2037 ACC season on the road at Wake Forest.
  6. I think that they would have learned from their mistakes, the Big East demise, and B12's aggressive expansion to add schools now. Especially if those schools are getting reduced shares and have to show up with Apple subscriptions to gain more money. I'd think they would "at least" go to 12 with SDSU, SMU, and likely UNLV.
  7. I had read an article a few years back at Georgia Tech was actually a desired Big 10 market based on Academics and the Atlanta market. I'd be interested to see if they favored them over FSU, Miami, Virginia, or UNC now.
  8. If I've learned one thing about the Pac 12 is that they are going to be ultra conservative (ala Big East football). If they are able to hold onto Arizona (which I don't expect); they will be stuck at 9. They may decide to add just either SMU or SDSU to settle at 10. I don't think they will go to 12 as I don't believe they will be able to agree on a third member to add. Additionally, Oregon and Washington will not agree to a GOR which will make expansion more difficult and will depress any TV deal. Let's say they add SMU to get to 10 for 2024. Then Oregon and Washington leave for the the Big 10 or the Big 12 for 2025. This will leave the Pac 12 sitting at 8. They will likely agree to add only two more to get to 10. Rice, Fresno State, UNLV Colorado State, Air Force? Who knows. But I'd be very skeptical about the Pac 12 being aggressive. Because they could have added SDSU, Houston, SMU, and BYU years ago to have avoided this mess. They didn't learn from it then and won't do it now. Where does that leave USF? 100% in the ACC in 2037. The only way USF gets into the Big 12 in the interim is if the Pac 12 firm and stops the bleeding with a GOR and the Big 12 has to choose between USF or UConn to get to 14. There is no TV network or University president that would select Memphis or UNLV over either. The only way USF gets into the ACC earlier than 2037 is for FSU or Miami to leave for the SEC or Big 10. Either way. I'm just going to enjoy watching Golesh build this program, enjoying the new stadium, and hopefully some AAC championships.
  9. I think that it’s fairly likely that USF will be in this conference in 2037, regardless of the next 14 years. USF Wake Forest Duke Boston College Syracuse Uconn Virginia Virginia Tech Pittsburgh Tulane Memphis Temple Louisville NC State
  10. But that didn’t stop Colorado, Rutgers, and Maryland from getting elevated.
  11. Exactly. When you look at the numbers, there isn't a more viable candidate for expansion that checks all of these boxes. You'd have to imagine that University Presidents and TV network executives are smart enough to analyze this data and come to a logical conclusion.
  12. Potential Options: Scenario #1 Big 12 goes to 16 with ASU, Arizona, and Utah Pac 12 goes to 12 with SMU (2024 addition), SDSU & UNLV (2025 additions) Scenario #2 Big 12 goes to 14 with UConn or USF Pac 12 goes to 12 with SMU (2024 addition), SDSU & UNLV (2025 additions) Scenario #3 Big 12 goes to 16 with UConn (2024) USF and Tulane (2026) Pac 12 goes to 14 with SMU (2024 addition), SDSU, UNLV, Colorado State, Fresno State (2025) Scenario #4 Big 12 goes to 14 with UConn Pac 12 goes to 16 with SMU, USF, Tulane, Memphis (2024); SDSU, UNLV, Colorado State (2025)
  13. Just 20 years away from launching our exciting regional rivalry with the UNF Ospreys.

  15. Canzano: Pac-12 officially exploring four expansion schools Oregon remains "way on board" with Pac-12, per source.

  17. First, I trust this coaching staff to make the right decision. It seems to me that McCloud has the confidence of the locker room and is a respected young man. I was very impressed by Johnson's film; but McCloud must be adapting well to the new system. The long term upside of McCloud is that we could potentially see four years of McCloud at QB. Might was well give him some experience if they believe he has the tools. Let's get behind Jordan and support this team!

  20. That's unfortunate. He looked really good in the spring game and was poised for competing for the starting job next year. Guessing we are down to McCloud and Evans in 2020 when we go to Texas. Okay, then.
  21. Clemmons committed to Minnesota without visiting due to his apparent relationship with the DB coach. Just a few days after signing day the DB coach (Jahmile Addae) left to take another job at West Virginia. Clemmons was reportedly looking at Kentucky and USF before committing to the Gophers. You'd have to think they would be in the running again. Perhaps WVU as well, although I'd imagine some trust was lost with Jahmile departing so quickly after Kelvin's commitment.
