  1. I've been saying this, but Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama are all major football states and currently have two SEC teams in each. Florida is arguably the 2nd biggest football state (behind Texas) and only has one team. I could see a path where USF is added to the SEC as the second Florida team to try and secure more of the state's football market. Pipe dream for sure, but the argument is there.
  2. My brother went there, I took a few online grad school classes there, and I have a few friends that went there and played basketball. Awesome school. They just made the move to FBS in 2019, and already playing in a NYE bowl in their 5th year, pretty crazy! They also have a tubing/skiing/snowboarding course they opened on the side of one of their mountains lol. As far as beauty goes, USF will never be able to compete with them
  3. Jersey combos through this week (with a bonus of all gold that I would love to see)
  4. In the athletic brand guide, it says that slime is only supposed to be used against UCF. So when we stopped playing UCF, I thought that was going to be the end of the slime era. I would love to see an all gold fit as an alternate. Gold helmet, gold jersey, gold pants.
  5. Just a thought, the new practice facility that was finished over the summer is turf. I understand the sentiment of playing on grass, but wouldn't it be best for the team to play on what they practicing on? Also, the Tampa Sports Authority (who operates RJS) spends north of $1,000,000 on grass each year. I know circumstances are a bit different because the NFL's grass requirements can be a bit stringent (for starters, between the hashes and endzone is replaced pretty much after every game) and RJS hosts a lot of different types of events that require grass being removed and reinstalled (i.e. monster jam for example). But turf could be more cost effective. According to an AB survey, schools with grass football fields average roughly $57,000 in annual maintenance costs, whereas schools with synthetic turf in their stadiums spend about $16,000. Multiply that over 20 years, and that's almost $1,000,000 in savings.
  6. Since we don't have any renderings yet, here's my newest (and personal favorite) submission that would only work if the field was artificial turf.
  7. X is the new name for Twitter for all the confused folks out there. Also, 05:21 and no renderings
  8. Went from feeling we could make it to a bowl and / or be conference contenders this morning, to feeling that we will be lucky to win another game this season. There’s no reason we should be getting blown out by UAB
  9. Pretty sure Uab has more touchdowns than we do tackles. What the actual frick happened to our defense!? terrible angles, terrible tackling, terrible position. Looks like they took the whole week off and didn’t do any prep.
