When fans just walk away. Find other, more wholesome, entertainment.
This was for the joke that NIL is.
I know it was.

When does it end? Some states have nil deals for high schoolers now. How long until fans can ensure they have paid the the best players from middle school to toddler sports for name, image, and likeness to attend their favorite university.

When are the contracts and salary caps coming?
Never. You can just start handing bags of cash over to a pay for an autograph in the future for their name, likeness, and image at live events.

Next 2 series are key
Last place Rice and middling FA-who
Need to take 5 of those
I agree. We can't afford to lose either series. Hopefully we coach up the starters to perform better as the season progresses. WE can't survive on the bats feasting every night.

UNC Board of Governors Approves $60M Expansion of Jerry Richardson Stadium - Charlotte Athletics
CHARLOTTE49ERS.COM
On Thursday, April 18, the UNC Board of Governors approved a $60 million Phase 1 expansion of Jerry Richardson Stadium, marking a significant milestone in the...With this initial phase, the stadium's capacity will increase to 18,170, laying the foundation for future growth. Plans are already in motion for further expansion (Phase 2) to a capacity of 21,000 as additional funds are secured. This phased approach enables Charlotte Athletics to proceed promptly with the project, maintaining momentum while fundraising continues for subsequent phases.
Goodness, that's tiny.
The exact reason we should have never associated ourselves or allowed the other teams in the AAC expansion except Army and UTSA. USF should be punching up not down.

They definitely made the right move getting out of the AAC and will bring in more ticket revenue and more money.

Kind of related to the discussion of seating capacity and yes, this is the SEC school with much $$$:
That is just an upgrade for Mizzou. If.you have never been to a home game there, I highly recommend. Top 10 experiences for college football for me. The tiger walk is really next level and the fans go crazy. The rock is one of the coolest stories and student section areas. Weird but fun fact mizzou invited homecoming.

Someone needs to ask coach why he felt this guy wasn't good enough to see the field, with the weak defense we had, yet the NFL says he is worth a look
Ridiculous
He didn't play football last year or come out for football. He missed the game or decided he wanted to try to make the nfl.

Come on it’s for the kids. You can leave your job every year if you want.
You mean young professional athletes on ncaa scholarships. These are student athletes once they take nil money.

Professional Athletes don't move that often
Depends on the athlete.

Baseball has had 2 poor seasons after winning the regional championship under Mohl. Baseball has been to the regionals 4 times in the past 8 full seasons (2 of Mohl's 5 full seasons and the only regional championship in program history under Mohl). By comparison, baseball has been to the regionals a total of 10 times in the programs first 48 years.
That is great. Still doesn't change the fact baseball has lost more games than it wins under mohl. You can be a winning coach, when you have lost more games than you won.

Professional athletes on ncaa scholarships. They are making it easier for them to get more nil money so the ncaa and universities don't have to share their profits.

Crazier things have happened. If he works harder than anyone else, he may see his dream one day of playing in the NFL.

He said "Winning is the standard started by Golesh", which is fine if your focus is totally on football/basketball. The sports in Athletics outside those two have been doing a pretty good job with this winning thing so the smart move is to keep this "not the same old USF" mantra to the two most visible sports.
Football is really the only sport that matters for power TV Contracts.

Didn't baseball win a regional and a conference title a couple of years ago?
Volleyball seemed to do pretty well (NIVC)
Track and Field perhaps
Sailing anyone?
Baseball has sucked for several years in a row. They aren't winners under Mohl overall. Winning is the exception for baseball.

Its kind of a red flag if he disappointed one of the greatest DB to ever play the game, but Ill still take him.
Word on the street was he was better than his other son the db, and had some internal issues with Primetime favoring his son over him. Primetime is using his two sons on twitter to try to get people to transfer there. A lot of his better recruits are transferring out. I hope it works out for Primetime, but it definitely is a circus full of entertainment in Colorado. The qb went from he isn't the number two qb in the draft sop he is coming back; to he can't beat FBS teams real quick.

I think if the ACC only lost FSU and Clemson, picked up Pac2, USF and UCONN, it would be a much better and more valuable product than B12 (for basketball and football).
Well AD MK better use his ACC connections after the ACC gets about hundreds of millions times two in buyout money.

When talking about championships and "this isn't the old South Florida", you need to reference CAAR.
Does the Boca Bowl Champion not count? If not , it should after being stuck at rock bottom of college football for three years under the last coach.

Please give it up for Nikita Kucherov. HE has the most assist by a right winger in a season breaking Jagr's record that is over 20 years old. Kucherov is the 5th player in NHL history to get 100 assist in a season.
Leads the league in points .
He had 144 points,44 goals, and 100 assist. LEts effin go. We have one more period for him to add to his lead. It would be crazy if Mackinnon got 6 points tomorrow to tie him, especially with the best player in the league McDavid opposite of him in the faceoff circle.

I support anyone that beats FSU unless it is Florida or UCF.

TBF, we have had Wake Forest level of fan support over the last decade, having to rely on OOC bigger programs to sell the stadium (UF/FSU/Bama/etc). If we were selling 40-50k tickets per game in that same time, we'd be building a 40-50k seat stadium. It's an unfortunate reality. Donate, buy season tickets, go to games, and we'll be expanding in no time.

Go get the championship fellas! This isn't the old south florida . Winning is the standard started by Golesh.

Some kids need tough love. Golesh is a guy that provides tough love and the ability to coach kids up. We haven't seen the ability to coach kids up from Prime yet. Sadly there is no shortage of high school stars that don't take school academics, or team functions team rules, and discpline rules serious because they don't have to at their high school. Hopefully whereever he goes , he finds a coach that will give him tough love, coach him up, and teach him some life lessons on following team rules. To play player’s advocate, he probably also bought into the prime hype train and thought they would win on talent and prime coaching alone. It will be interesting to see if Prime can actually coach against even levels of talent and coach players up.
