    So it is unrealistic to expect your team to be mediocre in a year and a half .... in a mediocre or worse conference no less ... gotcha .. so how may years 3? 4? 5? years is that the plan to reach mediocrity?

    People aren't wanting us to lose, they are saying we should win and there's folks on here loaded up with the excuses in case we don't. How about we stop saying it is ok to lose at home to Tulsa and start expecting to beat middling and worse teams in the aac

    1. We shouldn't have been 0-7. 2. They are 2-4 this year. 3. We are supposed to be improving and have had 1.5 years to improve. It's not like we snapped our fingers and said ok now we are better. 4. It's Tulsa. If we can not beat them and worse yet as a fan base we do not expect to beat them every year, then shut the doors or go FCS

    Agree 100%. If a year in a half isn't enough time to get your team good enough to beat Tulsa, then there are some legit questions. IF we are ok with that, then maybe we should start discussing shuttering the doors on the program or moving down to FCS and playing at Corbett

    If anything the "current" landscape allows for quicker turnarounds than in the past, but it definitely doesn't take 4 years to turn a program around in the aac

    So bringing a team into our conference and putting them on the same level playing field we are on helps them to rise up as a program? Where have I heard this before? How about FAU or FIU? Maybe we could create a cute little rivalry and one day both of us will be taken to the P5 promised land as a package deal
