    Ive been in the same boat. Ladt 2 games have swayed me, along with kneeling just before half at 40-ish and 21 seconds left and 2 (should have been 3) timeouts left . CCS is a fing puss. Play to win, or go the f home! Fire CCS. Hes almost as inept as CSG

    How has Gilbert and CCS not come to this conclusion and at least attempted different ways to resolve the issues. No frickin flexibility or ingenuity. Gilbert must go, this year. Not even debatable. And Preferably before bowl practices start. If CCS wont do cut him, then CCS should be sent packing too. If you cant adapt, you go the way of the dinosaurs.

    Agreed. And sounds defeated. As the HC (and tone-setter), question should have light his competitive fire, and reinforce that is the direction and ultimate expectation for this program. But he responded with defeatist dribble jibberish. Up to this point I’ve been a CCS supporter, even though I agree some assistant coaching changes need to be made. But things like this have me wondering if he needs to go also.

    Great analysis. Gilbert is a horrible OC. No creativity. Unable to create or take advantage of mismatches. He needs to be let go before the Spring.

    I agree CCS and/or certain staff are not the best coaches and could improve. Thats obvious and besides my point. From a 10,000 ft view.... Iprefer results and Gladly take under acheiving 9-3 to 11-1 seasons every year for the foreseeable future. Seems like a great place to be considering probability of lesser alternatives/results. This kind of consistency can bring AAC championships and build the bull brand.

    Reminds me of Gator fans. NC or bust is delusional. Need to start with consistently winning our own division first. And 10-win seasons in AAC is not comparable to CMU or Akron.

    Agreed. And I would be more than happy keep seeing consistent 10 win (on average) seasons. And believe it would gradually move the needle.

    Pump the brakes haters. Put things in perspective. Almost 0% chnace USF finds/signs the next young world beater coach. And if we did he would be off to greener pastures in less than 3 years. Love the 1 you got, otherwise it would almost certainly be worse. Enjoy what i think CCS can maintain, a perennial #20-35 team with the occasional top #15 rankning in years it comes all together. For as long as we are AAC that is.

    Great observation. Defense does not look like they have grown/progressed the last sevarel weeks. Uconn was embarrassing. Umass too. Houston, a little less so as alot of us knew King was going to shred this defense.

    Hoping for the best... but still think their QB shreds us. Hopefully our offense can keep up with scoring, and we get 1 or more timely turnovers. I anticipate a Big 12-type game.

    Agree 100%. fwiw... i wasnt a fan 1st time i saw the new academic logo. But its growing on me. i like this, but needs to say usf or univ. South florida go bulls

    The clear “over-ranking” sticking out to me in AP and Coaches.... 1. Washington is over-ranked based on resume. 2 losses to unranked Auburn and 15-25 caliber (at best) Oregon. They have no business as high as 14-ish above other, better resumes. Top 25 sure, but not top 15. 2. Why the extreme love for Texas? They beat a good Oklahoma team in a close rivalry game. Great. But what else have they done to deserve top 8-9 rank? They lost to frigging Maryland. There are better and more deserving 1 loss teams. I guess its too trendy to jump on the big Texas bandwagon; i hear “they’re back!”

    And utlize Mcants as a HB. Hes big enough and athletic enough to block, run, recive, etc. he should be a swiss atmy knife creating mis-matches. Not solely as a WR. How can a professional OC not figure out how to abuse lesser athletic teams with Mcants. And the new, small speedy guys on sweeps and screens. No creativity at all.
