  1. It seems pretty simple to me. When you hire someone to build a program back up, you can't then fire them, without giving them time to do so. CCS started with CWT's recruits and Flowers. Over time he lost the team and didn't recruit well. So CJS started with a mentally downtrodden team during covid with no depth to speak of... This year was the first year going in, that we actually had skill at all of the skilled positions. Then injury after injury after injury. How can anyone hold that against a coach? Whether you like him or not, he can't win without his starters. When you fire coaches knowing they never really had a chance, it looks terrible. Especially when they look worse for being associated with your program. The job then goes from being desirable, to a death nail to anyone's career. So, contrary to popular belief, actually look at the team play, and not at the win loss column. They have been playing worlds better. The offense looked functional even with a backup quarterback. The defense looked great until they had to live on the field. I'm not sold entirely on CJS, but I don't believe anyone could've done better with the hand that he's dealt right now.
  2. It's my favorite part of the season... Miserable Bulls fans trying to one up each other by dumping on our team.
  3. Nick Saban couldn't get away with not having this many starters. I get it, I hate losing too, but I swear y'all kick out so much negative energy then you act surprised when bad things happen.
  4. The defense looked great until the offense didn't. This is just the result of bad juju.
  5. I mean maybe there is gloom and doom at the stadium. We looked prepared on TV. We looked like this was our game then the injury happened...
  6. I just hate the fact that Bohanon was finally being the player we knew he could be. I really hope he is OK because he had complete control of the game. I just want us to win, we were finally looking like the team we were expecting to see over the summer. Defense was holding it down and offense looked commanding. Go Bulls either way
  7. For the love of everything... I REALLY hope we win today so I don't have to read crap like this for at least 2 weeks (ideally ever again).
  8. So our offense is starting to gel and our quarterback is starting to be what we hope he'd be... and some of you are still finding ways to complain and say he wasn't perfect when he got here??? You all even remember Mike White? How'd he look while he was at USF? Do we remember the magical times with Matt Floyd and Bobby Eveld? This article can help us all reminisce... A comprehensive look at 25 years of USF quarterback play USF's quarterback play since 2018 hasn't been stellar. But... I personally forgot all about Blake Barnett. Do you all miss the Jordan McCloud days? I mean seriously, Bohanon really does show promise. Especially when you look at all the players that are forgotten within the QB carousel days. Cade Fortin anyone...
  9. I look forward to revisiting this at the end of the season and see how it really stacks up. I hope we truly are trending up.
  10. Thank you for this. I'm glad the eye test has some facts to back it up. I feel bad about losing, but last year I honestly couldn't watch most games all the way through. This year, I'm always hopeful that SOMETHING positive will happen.
  11. What if I said whether we "accept" losing or not, it won't change the facts. All we do is make other fans, onlookers, potential recruits, current/ former players etc., feel worse than the win loss column does already.
  12. I'm not talking about a moral victory. I'm talking about a d*mn good football game and a solid team outing. We got outplayed a few times and loss. A loss doesn't have to mean we did everything wrong. That's all I'm saying. Compared to last week, we came out truly fighting and playing like we were the team to beat. Coaches deserve blame, but they also earned some credit. I've heard "every team has injuries..." but not every team has announcers giving disclaimers due to injury. Which leads me to believe that our injuries may be a little bit more of a factor than some like to admit. With that being said, they had one heck of a game plan that made the best out of our current situation.
  13. I just wanted this to be a happier place. We were multi-touchdown underdogs... losing close gives us another week of fire everyone? I just want a break from our fans.
  14. I mean the defender was in the right spot but he slipped. That has happen several times this game. Not sure if it's equipment or what. But that seems to be the real problem and not necessarily any specific players. Especially when they're fighting hard.
  15. I'm sure they can feel the pressure of "don't f*ck this up." Mix that with the blitz almost landing with zero room for escape. I'm just glad it wasn't picked off.
