  1. A 6'9, run a 4.8 40 yd and 300Ibs of muscle athlete. Not all athletes are the same.
  2. How about we stop only blaming the players? The coaches account for half the transfers b/c they are always seeking better players. So there is no loyalty on either end.
  3. At minimum you could of had him rush every punt or field goal. At 6'9 with a decent vertical, he could have blocked a few.
  4. Both of the his sons played well last year and have a whole season ahead. And there are multiple opportunities for CBs to play b/c you have to keep fresh bodies. CU defense and o-line sucked so anybody on last year's defense and offensive line needs to humble themselves.
  5. Its kind of a red flag if he disappointed one of the greatest DB to ever play the game, but Ill still take him.
  6. I heard Christopher Townsel in the portal. I had him at 2nd string. These new guys must be good.
  7. Not really, b/c It would make CJS and CAG look incompetent b/c they couldn't figure out how to use a 6'9, 300 Ibs of muscle player that runs a 4.8 40yd. Especially if he makes a roster.
  8. Gerry was getting better on the field, but his mentoring of BB was priceless. Even BB father stated that GB was a big part of BB's development.
  9. I might as well provide a new team list with the outgoing transfers removed. We officially have depth issues at the OL. I'm assuming the CAG has a plan. 10. I thought I would start the transfer portal thread. Last year we had 18 incoming transfers and 24 outgoing. The smaller amount of portal action shows that we have more stability as a team and the incoming freshmen are pretty good. Anyway, keep an eye out for this guy. For all you Deon haters this will be a little "get back" should he transfer here. Supposedly he was a DVD recruit when DVD was at UM. Incoming Transfers 1 Jack Wilty (OL) 2 Brent Austin (DB) 3 De'Shawn Rucker(DB) 4 Langston Long (DB/LB) 5 D'Marco Augustin (DB) 6 Kajuan Banks (DB) 7 Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen (WR) Outgoing Transfers (17) Comment New School 1 Stantavious Smith (DL) I no longer on the roster. 11. Players who look like they got bigger. Ben Knox (1) looks like Ben Know has surpassed 196Ibs. Jarvis Less (28) looks like he has surpassed his weight of 173Ibs. Maybe 180.
  12. Ha! I am always impressed by what our athletes do outside of football. Thats cool.
  13. CAAR took a whole team with him to USF. He understands the game. Besides no we have room for a 4/5 star player in Knox
  14. Updated Roster with Gisotti and Wilty added. One thing I did notice is that this team is old now. We have 16 seniors, 11 Graduate Students, and 23 Juniors. That's about 50 players that have been in college for at least 3 years. 15. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. That o-line at CU was bad. But "In 146 pass attempts that he blocked for, Wilty did not allow a single sack on the season." brings me hope.
  16. I feel Doug Blue-Eli is going to get drafted. He is definitely putting in the work in the weight room. Last year he came in looking puffy and finished camp in better shape. Now they said he is up 322 from 320 Ibs but still looks much slimmer. Even though he came from TCU he pretty much had a tougher road to where he is at than even Sean Atkins. "He committed to Delaware State as a high-school junior, but said that offer was pulled at the last minute and he had no other options. He went the junior-college route in January 2020, just in time for COVID. He became a junior-college All-American in 2021 at Monroe College in New Rochelle, N.Y., before accepting an offer at TCU. Blue-Eli played in just four games and preserved his redshirt as the Horned Frogs made the College Football Playoff championship game. The fit never seemed right, though, so Blue-Eli was on the move again and he has found a home at USF."
