It's always great to poach top level talent, but my guess is he would want to go where he can win the starting job immediately. Brown has tremendous upside so that looks like to big a hill to climb. However having the chance to be coached by Brock Purdy's mentors while coming back home might be enough for him to choose here( if CG would take him)😎

After disappointed one of the best if not the best CB ever, I question his level of confidence. I feel he comes to USF and DVD helps him develop with less pressure than living up to 5 stars at a P5. USF is a more lowkey move which I feel is probably what he prefers after playing for a team that has a spotlight on it 24/7 and a future hall of famer cb in Travis Hunter to make him feel even smaller lol They say Travis Hunter dominates all of the practices and never gets tired.

What's the deal with this guy and Jabri Abdur-Rahim? I feel like we should be able to land at least one of them given family connections.  Internet is pretty quiet.

Not everybody wants to play for a parent or uncle. Its not for the faint of heart  People will always question if you earned it or is it favoritism.

If I recall correctly, he was the athlete that joined practice and blocked a couple of field goals in a row. CJS was excited how a basketball player with zero football experience could walk on like that and block field goals...I was saying to myself, what does it say about the football team when a basketball player can just walk onto the field and start blocking field goals...

A 6'9, run a 4.8 40 yd and 300Ibs of muscle athlete. Not all athletes are the same.

Neither one of them could afford to start a project on either line and that certainly is what he was at that point. What that original article didn't tell you is where he was last year ...

He didn’t play anywhere last fall, but missed the game and wanted to give it another shot. His opportunity arrived via the NFL International Player Pathway program, a league initiative designed to “cover and develop elite global talent capable of competing in the NFL.”

Matos, 23, was among 15 players (representing seven different countries) chosen for the program’s Class of 2024. The group, which worked out extensively at IMG Academy, participated March 20 at USF’s pro day, where Matos ran the 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds.

At minimum you could of had him rush every punt or field goal. At 6'9 with a decent vertical, he could have blocked a few.

Word on the street was he was better than his other son the db, and had some  internal issues with Primetime favoring his son over him. Primetime is using his two sons on twitter to try to get people to transfer there. A lot of his better recruits are transferring out.  I hope it works out for Primetime, but it definitely is a circus full of entertainment in Colorado. The qb went from he isn't the number two qb in the draft sop he is coming back;  to he can't beat FBS teams real quick.

Both of the his sons played well last year and have a whole season ahead. And there are multiple opportunities for CBs to play b/c you have to keep fresh bodies. CU defense and o-line sucked so anybody on last year's defense and offensive line needs to humble themselves.

HE has freak athletic ability for his size and frame, but never really got to develop or show off his football skills. I could see him going to the CFL or European leagues to develop.  If it doesn't work out in football, he could have a career in WWE.

    I agree with WWE.

Would be cool if he made it to a training camp. If drafted, would he be under the USF umbrella?

Not really, b/c It would make CJS and CAG look incompetent b/c they couldn't figure out how to use a 6'9, 300 Ibs of muscle player that runs a 4.8 40yd. Especially if he makes a roster.

The Baylor transfers all have been zero impact Gb,Terry, and Jones. Not surpsued about anyone on the list but the Vandy ol transfer uzebu. Only thing I can think of wilty is a better fit. Several recruits from last class transferring out. I assume it because they want to play and move down the college football ladder. We also brought  in better talent on the recruiting and transfer trail and that maybe pushing some out that want to play.

Gerry was getting better on the field, but his mentoring of BB was priceless. Even BB father stated that GB was a big part of BB's development.

  9. I might as well provide a new team list with the outgoing transfers removed. We officially have depth issues at  the OL. I'm assuming the CAG has a plan.

  10. I thought I would start the transfer portal thread. Last year we had 18 incoming transfers and 24 outgoing. The smaller amount of portal action shows that we have more stability as a team and the incoming freshmen are pretty good. Anyway, keep an eye out for this guy. For all you Deon haters this will be a little "get back" should he transfer here. Supposedly he was a DVD recruit when DVD was at UM.

It’s funny that some of us thought we lose the coach and the whole team would follow. Turns out they just left him. Now do you think CAAR saw this coming? You think he had to right? At the same time if he knew this was coming and he did in fact get interviews, did he get any offers? And if he did, does he regret staying now?

CAAR took a whole team with him to USF. He understands the game. Besides no we have room for a 4/5 star player in Knox 😎

  13. Updated Roster with Gisotti and Wilty added. One thing I did notice is that this team is old now. We have 16 seniors, 11 Graduate Students, and 23 Juniors. That's about 50 players that have been in college for at least 3 years.
