  1. They didnt cut him loose. Its well documented on bamaonline. Believe what you want.
  2. Shadowbull u are an idiot. Already stated he came to ucf for family reasons and pt. Bama had two 5 star dbs...still came to ucf
  3. Usf bullrider. That is a good point. ...i hear you. I would say yes and no. I think it goes both ways. For example , UCF was primarily targeting three positions: Dline, Dback and QB. Oline and LB would be the secondary positions of need. Oleary had a press conference on this so I am not just making it up. You have to be careful with your recruiting board as to not offer up what might be a good prospect, but is not a great prospect. You can call it selective, but I would also say it is a gamble. When you have 17 scholarships you have to play it pretty tight and have less room for error. USF brought in a great class by the numbers and if you just look at the prospect regardless of star ratings. I guess I expected it. It is well known that tags can recruit and it is impressive, but expected. My only argument is that our class is also very good. Both schools had elite schools after their prospects. We are thrilled with our class.
  4. Bullphin, Do your homework on Chris Williams, Jamius Pittman, Errol Clark, Lance McDowdell, Michael Rogers in addition to Tyler Harris and Kyle Gibson. Every player is just as bit as good or heralded as Harris/Gibson. Sorry, but you are flat out wrong. Would be the equivalent of me taking a quick look at rivals and saying Bayes and D Johnson are good but after that slim pickins..lol. Truthfully if you want to get into star ratings and inaccuracies I would say McCants and Mack are your best prospects. You do know that scout and rivals base rankings more on exposure and camps than anything right? If you are a good promoter your ratings will be higher.
  5. Couldnt edit..first sentence correction is "our class is as good as yours"
  6. Hate to tell you guys , but our recruiting class is as good as ours. We got two defensive tackles that were in fact SEC quality lineman with the offers to back it up so not sure where you guys get your information. GOL is also very good at recognizing where olineman and their frames will be 2 years from now and has developed many NFL olineman. All three of our olineman were in the offense-defense all star game along with kyle gibson and are better long term prospects than you may think. Rankings are rankings. 247 sports who uses a pool of analysts and has UCF with four 4* players at 90+. We did have 3 defensive backs with a full offersheet with valid offers and sec/big 10/acc chasing them down until signing day. This is confirmed by other pay boards .a bama.recruit came our way due to family health reasons and pt opportunities, but saban and smart were on him until signing day morning confirmed by the bama 247 and rivals sites. We also got a very good Pro style qb that fits our system and is highly rated at the most important position on the field IMO. For these reasons the comparison is a push IMO. USF got a ton of talent, but signed many more prospects skewing the rankings. I would say look at the size and range of both classes and they are very good. Definitely the best class we have ever signed by far. It doesn't suprise me that taggart got a good class after 2-10. He can sell PT. Sometimes it is just as hard to recruit as a winner as it is when you are offering early P I would say the classes are a push.
  7. Southshore The bama kid was a flip and was commited to bama for a very long time. Per several bama recruiting websites smart and saban pushed him 2/4 eve and 2/5. He only flipped to ucf because of proximity and I believe family health reasons. Regardless he was a bama commit but believe what you want. All you other folks talking about moral victories or the fact that UCF laid a turd and only beat USF by 3: None of that matters. All that matters are wins , losses and rings. If it makes you feel better then fine, but it has no relevance. I could not care less how much we beat usf by, but that we have national relevance. I would rather lose 1 game a year to usf than lose three games and beat usf. Case closed.
  8. Ya ok bbb. Only after 2000 broke it down for you
  9. USF seems to "out-recruit" UCF every year. Only the onfield results are different, hence the trophy case issue you guys are having. Slow your roll, we are 4 and 1, yes you won 1 game, 1, by 3 pts, oh forget it reason is lost... but anyways I fully expect it to go 5 and 1 in the very near future, and I will be willing to make my first ever sports bet on it, $200 take me up. Should be interesting in 2014. I am interested to see how QBs shake out for both schools. Hearing that UCF will keep the annual game with USF after moving to B12 in 2015.
  10. LOL at footnfan trying to talk sense into Shadow. Even his own fanbase knows he is a dip$%^% footnfan1 is one of yours. LOL at footnfan trying to talk sense into Shadow. 12. Its recruiting season and our recruiting is pretty wrapped up with the exception of a few spots. I am all over AAC recruiting. You guys don't have enough fans to overflow a board what are you talkin about.
  13. Truthfully it is somewhat of a quiet year so I came to talk smack with you jabroni's. Starting to heat up though. UCF fans dont need your validation guys--get real. You guys have a great class..putting a nice one together. They should be 5 stars at false starts and illegal motions by the time they graduate.
  14. Officially a Knight?? You do understand how this whole thing works, right? Sedrick King was "officially a Knight" ..... until he wasn't. Ouch...so was the WR who dumped UCF for UGA this week. Too lazy & indifferent to look it up. Gibson sticks...bet the house
