  1. Wow!! That’s great for the fan base. I guess we’ll find out. A full stadium is better then an empty stadium, no matter who they are cheering for.
  2. If GT is potentially still filling up 3 sections and bringing there band I feel like that adds more right away...no way less Bulls fans show up this week vs last. We live in Florida everyone should be use to the heat. Haha
  3. Does anyone have any idea of what our attendance figures are looking like for the game? How many tickets was GT given to sell and did they sell out? Are they bringing there band?
  4. I could be wrong but did they change the tunnel that they now run out of? I don’t remember them running out of the tunnel by the “visitor section”
  5. I don’t think his bus ever got out of the garage...or got a flat tire after running over the spear.
  6. Does anyone know how many tickets USF allotted them? Are they bringing there band? I always like when the visiting team brings there band and a decent amount of fans...I guess it adds to the atmosphere inside the stadium to have both bands going.
  7. I love that it says “South Florida” to me that has always sounded better then USF. I still miss under Armour though.haha
  8. Dec 1, 2011vs WVU finished up 5-7 that year but we had a Thursday night game prime time ESPN. Exams had already started on campus. Conference championship games were that Saturday the 3rd.
  9. I had posted a topic that I asked to be removed, but what I kind of said went along with this thread. Until the university bridges the gap between athletics, clubs and academics all the advertising or lack of advertising in the world in my opinion won’t work. You have to create a partnership where people have each other’s back. An example I thought of is Clemson I think delayed the first day of spring semester classes because of the national title game a few years ago. When I was a student at USF played a home game against West Virginia on a Thursday night, but we weren’t very good at this particular time and classmates of mine couldn’t get there final exam rescheduled to go to a ESPN nationally televised game involving USF. Many students had the same issue and thus the student section was empty.
  10. I’ll say this. As a coach I would be working on stopping the triple option a lot during fall camp. One stat I saw was when a Georgia Tech opponent had more then 2 weeks to prepare for them they are something like 0-4. I know for a fact last year as bad as Tennessee was they were able to get stops when they needed to. Charlie Strong is a defensive minded coach so he should schematically be able to have the Bulls ready. Obviously like all games against Power 5 teams it will come down to the trenches on the offensive and defensive line. Georgia Tech does a lot of cutting and that is difficult to simulate in practice so it will be interesting to see how our new D-line can handle that.
  11. What does everyone see the attendance being for this game? I mean with Georgia Tech being from the ACC does anyone know how many tickets were allotted to fans to buy through Tech? Are they bringing their band?
  12. Look for Jonathon Cronkite the Florida Gator transfer to have a big season at RB. I saw him play 2 years ago at Florida and the man was running well against SEC Defenses; all be it in his limited carries.
