I remember when Holtz was fired, given how bad the team was after Daniels, people said it will take 3-4 years to turn the program around and major patience was going to be needed. Now after 2, they've forgotten that, don't want to wait any longer.

    False.

If we were seeing progress, no one would have an issue. Once again, the problem is that we got 5 net rushing yards after 24 games in this system, which is supposed to be a running style of offense. We are not getting better. THAT is the problem. Coupled with the egregious QB games, inability to get plays called, etc.

idiot 2-10 to 4-8 is improvement. I expect for USF to go bowling next year. Yup I have said it folks we are going BOWLING under Willie Taggert in 2015.

  2. Revenue from ticket sales jumped 67% from 2007 to 2008 and can almost exclusively be credited to the success the football team had on the field. Fortunately ticket revenue has only fallen 13% (as of 2013) from their peak in 2008 and have not returned to their pre-2008 levels - yet.

We are still recovering from the Ticket crash... i wonder when the next stock market crash will happen.

  3. 1. Programs are not built overnight. Most schools do not do like auburn did and go from worst to first. You have to get a roster that will fight till the bitter end, and then get a player who will win 5hat game for you. We have two such players who I learned this season who have stepped up with the game on the line. One is named Mike white (see our games against tulsa and smu) and the other is Marlon Mack (see western Carolina and uconn).

    2. A lot of you talk about the program's inability to afford a new head coach. Well, chickens must hatch to produce more chicken eggs. Without us renewing season tickets (and donating to the program for some of you), there will be no chickens to pay for a new coach.

    3. We have mostly freshmen and sophomores playing. The only way they get better is by learning and playing and practicing. Agreed, wulff bombed this season. He was horrible. But ask will muschamp if a new offensive coordinator saved him this year. Forcing Mike white to have to learn from a 3rd offensive coordinator will nor help his development. You want to develop bench? Fine. But a new OC will not make him better if he has to figure out who to listen to in his final year as a quarterback.

    4. Mark Harlan has played it smartly as an athletic director in his first 9 months on the job. He has gone out and sold the program hard, to the students, to the tampa bay area, and surely to the donors. If he retains taggart, he will do so knowing his plan forward. My best guess is that he will find a way to squeeze taggart out without firing him if he must to save money. Taggart has one year and I think we can say that with certainty. After that he will be fired no matter the numbers if there are no results on the field. And here's the thing. If you don't believe in Willie taggart, at least believe in mark Harlan. He's young, he's motivated, and he's driven. And if you support him, then I ask you to show your support by renewing your season tickets. By making a donation. He makes no excuses. He does not lie to you and tell you that we're doing great. He sees the harsh reality of usf athletics. But he sees opportunity, and a chance to build something for tampa. Today I ask you to stand with usf athletics. I ask you to stand with mark Harlan. I ask you to stand with that team, not knowing what 2014 held, got in the weight room and on the field for spring practice and busted their ass to get stronger. I ask you to stand with that basketball team that busted their butt in workouts and decided that they're not interested in losing. I ask you to stand with our women's basketball team, which right now carries the banner for usf in sports. Please don't give up on supporting usf. Because the day we the fans, we the alumni, we the boosters, we the green and gold say "football? I'll renew when they start winning", is the day that this program should be shut down. Because usf athletics requires every single one of us.

Join me my fellow bulls. I love all of you. I'll see you at the sun dome.

    GO BULLS!

    :applause:

So what do we have to do next year to make a bowl game?

Renewing my season tix in 125 just cause the ppl around me are mad cool.

The will be athleticism on offense, but most of the guys will be extremely young and mostly inexperienced.

The only way we see improvement on offense is if we act like most succesful programs we go out and hire a proven, top notch OC that can organize a powerful offense and call a winning game.

    Defense will be fine.

How many years in a row can we claim to be extremely young before nobody believes it anymore?

how many time did the boy cry wolf... I believe it was 4.

  5. Our wins were against pathetic teams- Oh wait next year we can beat SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, UConn at the beginning of the year and an FCS school and y'all can be thrilled with Willie, but I guarantee that I am not the only donor who is refusing to support this crap.

Snarling go rage quit... I will enjoy it.

I think we need to sleep off this bad win; on to Memphis next weekend and on to some good food.

    Who wants to cuddle tonight?

    Oh why not.

  6. Please, you sir are the idiot.  We darn near lost to winless SMU who hasn't won a game since they beat us last year.  We beat a lousy FCS team, pathetic UConn in September, 2 win Tulsa and a last second victory over winless SMU

last time I check we lost to a FCS team last year and had a 2-10 record this season we have doubled our win output... Beat that orlando school and I deem this a okay season and improvement.

  7. R.I.P Willie Taggart (2013-2014)

As shocked as I was that USF lost to McNeese State to open the Willie Taggart era, its become clear after the Bulls 14-13 win at winless SMU that this Bulls team has gotten worse since their first loss to an FCS team. Don't be fooled by the score - this team is bad, historically bad. Coach Taggart has shown an inability to develop players, specifically quarterbacks, and his stubbornness to stick with an offensive gameplan that doesn't mesh with his personnel will ultimately be his downfall.

Scoring 14 points against the worst defense in FBS is the latest in a long line of offensively embarrassing performances Bulls fans have seen over the last two years. Taggart was hired to turn the program around after Skip Holtz's departure, but instead has driven the Bulls to new lows. Every SMU opponent has scored at least 38 points this season, except for the Bulls. No matter what quarterback Taggart has put on the field this year each has been inept. The common denominator is Willie Taggart.

While many Taggart supporters, at least those that are left, will say USF cannot afford to pay off another coach. But with a weak 2015 home schedule and no hope of any improvement for next season Athletic Director Mark Harlan will have to weigh how much money will be lost by retaining Taggart as USF encounters a rapidly shrinking fan base.

On its current path USF will have to begin to worry about meeting FBS requirements for attendance or face relegation later in the decade to the FCS sub-division. USF doesn't have the generations of fans that many other schools have that will stick around for a long stretch of lean years. While the idea of being forced to FCS seems impossible, so were the prospects of losing to McNeese State and SMU.

Having Willie Taggart as head coach has taught us all that anything can happen and its usually bad.

You're an idiot... 100% improvement from last year.
