The moment I knew
I always have faith, but when we couldn’t convert that 3rd down immediately before temple ran the punt back, I knew.  The momentum had shifted so much.  We needed to stay on the field there.

its like we played the 2nd half no to lose.

The TBP Official In Game Thread: Bulls at Temple
GAME DAY vs Temple

Looking to end the program’s first three-game skid since dropping three straight early in the 2015 season, USF completes a two-game road swing at Temple. Temple (23-7) and USF (22-8) have the best records in AAC conference play over the past three seasons. The Bulls’ final three regular season games are against teams above the Bulls in the AAC East Division standings. The Bulls rolled past Temple, 43-7, last year, but have never won in Philadelphia (0-2), falling, 46-30, in their last trip in 2016 and, 37-28, in 2012. USF has lost three straight conference games for the first time since the 2013 season when the Bulls lost their last six.

WILCOX GOES WILD: Junior tight end Mitchell Wilcox, coming of seven catches for 90 yards at Cincinnati, now owns USF tight end records for season receptions (35), season yards (468), game receptions (8) and career yards (904). Leads all AAC tight ends and ranks 10th nationally among tight ends with 3.9 rpg and 468 yards.

ROAD WARRIORS: USF has gone 13-4 away from Tampa (10-4 in true road games) in the last three seasons and has won six of its last nine conference road games.

BARNETT CLOSING ON 3,000: Despite missing the Cincinnati game due to a shoulder injury suffered vs. Tulane, Blake Barnett enters this weekend’s game with 2,416 passing yards, 9th on the USF season charts, and closing quickly on the first 3,000-yard passing season in program history. Barnett ranks 20th nationally and third in The American passing for 267.2 yards per game and 17th nationally and third in The American in total offense (301.8 ypg). n 1,000 YARD SEASON: Jordan Cronkrite enters Saturday’s game needing just 18 yards to post the ninth 1,000-yard rushing season in program history and become the fifth USF player to achieve the mark.

GAME DAY vs Houston

One of five remaining unbeaten teams in FBS football, two unbeaten and ranked in the AAC East Division, USF entered last season’s Oct. 28 game vs. Houston (also Game 8 at 7-0 and ranked No. 17/14 before suffering a 28-24 setback in Tampa when D’Eriq King ran in for a 20-yard TD with 11 seconds to play. The teams’ combined record of 13-1 is the best among all college football matchups this week. The Bulls have lost their last three games vs. Houston and will be looking for their first win over the Cougars since a 32-14 victory in Houston in 2002. USF fell, 35-23, in its last trip to Houston in 2013. Andre Davis had a late TD catch that would have given the Bulls the lead waived off on an offensive pass interference call in that game. This will be the Bulls’ first ever game in TDECU Stadium.

BEST START/35-6 IN LAST 41: 7-0 for the second straight season, USF has equaled the best start in program history posted last year. The Bulls are 35-6 (85.3%) over their last 41 games, tied with Ohio State and Oklahoma for the third-best record in FBS over each team’s last 41 games and trailing only Alabama and Clemson.

Do We See Offensive Creativity This Week?
Ok, it's not secret that Cronkrite and our defense were the two main factors in the win vs. ECU.  Cronkrite's run came off of law of probability.  You try it enough times, it'll eventually work.  We have way more talent than ECU and should have never let them hang around.

This week, do we finally put away a team like UMass?  If we let a team like that hang around, I'm concerned looking forward.  I hope the pieces fit together this week.
