I could not agree more and like @puc86 says ad nauseam, pro style immobile QB’s just don’t work here. Spread people out and run so our O-line does not need to hold a block long or dominate the line of scrimmage. I think the kid has a ton of potential and would like to see him run around to see what we have. The year does not count so what is there to lose.
I am staying at home this season. I might be acting too cautious with Covid, but I like having control of my surroundings and where I go is the main thing I can control in this situation.
No tailgating, no alcohol sales, wear a mask, social distance, boring bad teams. Whoever does go, look around and give each other a nod of approval because these are the true fans. I will salute each of you with a cold one from my lazy boy.
I can't tell anything from this, but it sounds like whoever started practice this week at #1 is still #1. Sounds like someone worked really hard this week to go from #4 to #2, but they still just aren't good enough to be #1.
So basically this doesn't really say anything. Again.
I hope they realize that many fans who are choosing not to attend are not making the choice because they are afraid of getting sick. Many of us just don't want to put up with the protocols and rules like no tailgating, wearing masks, and being treated like a criminal. I guess you could say for me, it's the whole thing about not being able to tailgate in the lots. I think it's over the top and silly. I am sitting this one out, but I am looking forward to hearing about the experiences from fans who attend. Maybe it won't be as bad as it sounds.
