  5. I don't know the biggest upset but Pitt will always be my most memorable upset. I enjoyed a great trip to Washington, D.C. and on to Pittsburgh where some friendly locals at Primanti Bros said we shouldn't feel bad about "our little team" and the coming slaughter. As soon as both teams came out of the tunnel I saw that the Bulls were amped and Pitt was flat and thought, "We're gonna win this thing!" After the game, the whole town seemed in stunned silence and Walt Harris cried during the post-game presser. All that coming only days prior to 9/11. Pitt turned out to be a legit decent tea

  8. Can't cheer for Campbell because they were the game that went over the USF vs. Citadel kickoff last week and made us miss the kickoff on ESPN... I vowed to never cheer for the Camels after that

  17. A nice Game Eve feature on the Bulls' Devontres Dukes from the student newspaper. DeVontres Dukes’ revival September 18, 2020 10:58 am by Richard Silva, Correspondent After an incredibly disappointing second half of the 2018 season in which the Bulls went 0-6 in their final six games, then-coach Charlie Strong dismissed 11 players. The official reason given for the suspensions was unspecified violations of team rules. Reports also claimed that the 11 players suspended were unlikely to return to the team for the following season. Now, two years later, only one of

  18. UL 2005 and Pitt 2001. Both 20+ point dogs and won outright. The UL 2005 game may be the biggest swing from the spread to actual result. 21 point spread as I recall and a 31 point win so a 52 point swing. That’s insanity.

  26. The biggest upset for me was the dissolution of the BEast, followed by the creating of the American, Becoming conference mates with UCF, the wrongful termination of CJL, the firing of CSH (not that one the other one) and the hiring of KB to right the ship in football... There really is no end to the upset we as fans face so I am hard pressed to pick the most upsetting.

  30. You will probably hear this tomorrow morning when it’s official, or maybe later today, but three ND starters on Defense will probably not be playing. And two backups on offense. They are not all Covid-related, that includes injuries too. Right now it’s four for sure and maybe a fifth. And then there is the final Covid test today that could cause more.

  38. "Let's go over it again..." If we beat ND, perhaps the ventilator can be removed. This program needs excitement, beating ND brings that. As many realized in the first ten years that gets it done. Beating Memphis, UCF, Tulsa, Tulane is cute and should happen, but that doesn't bring back the old timers or the newbs on campus still wearing gator shirts. You have to beat the best, not your fellow G5ers.
