  1. Nbody is trying to figure that out. It is blatantly obvious. We rolled with two true soph DT and very little starting experience on the Dline and we were undersized inside. We had no depth, our rotation on the inside of the line consisted of Primarily soph and true freshman, we had to move our best pass rushing DE to MLB and substituted him with a guy that underperformed their entire career at USF (Vincent Jackson), the other LB alongside our DE was 5'11 195 at best and couldn't defend the inside run (McGee), we relied on true freshmen at LB who weren't ready because we literally had no quality depth... Hoggins was undersized at the Nickle, and our senior safety (J Thomas) was terrible at run support and had to be replaced with another freshman (Davis)... I mean everyone knows why. We're not in that position this year. People are acting like this will be the same defense as last season don't know much about football. I mean there were glaring issues last season on defense.

  6. Wisconsin finished 2017 with a 13-1 record, with the only loss to #8 Ohio State 27-21. They had a preseason ranking of #4 in 2018...including a first place vote, but they apparently were mediocre throughout the year. No telling what this year will bring for them, but I have a feeling they might be in for a surprise against us. We could be a much different looking team than the one who lost 6 straight to finish last season.

  7. I care what happens to the kid. I hope he lights it up actually. Best of luck to the kid with the rest of his career.

  8. Yup... that was last season. Just looking at the spring weights tells you that's from last season. Reaves is up to 253, Pickney is up to 6'3 300, Kegler is up to 290 at 6'2, and Livingstone is up to 275 at 6'4 so the average is/was around 280 in the spring. Also on the inside you have in the rotation Waller who is down to 320 (6'4 320 DT... love it!) and now with Armon Williams ready at 6'3 316... we're in a completely different place this season DLine wise. It's funny because those both Waller and Williams were heavily recruited by Big 10 schools Michigan and Wisconsin. Food for thought.

  9. The Super Bowl mvp #95 Richard Dent’s alma mater, I figured since you love to quote the 85 Bears, you probably knew of this connection. Either way i still think grades were a factor and he will not have an issue with them at TSU. I would like to say good luck but don’t really care what happens to the kid, he is doing what he thinks is right for him which is his choice, however does not mean we have to like it.

  10. If they play like they did against Rutgers last year we win by three TDs.

  11. Wisconsin's wins from last year, and the opponents end of season record: 34-3 Western Kentucky (6-7) 45-14 New Mexico (3-9) 28-17 @ Iowa (9-4) 41-24 Nebraska (4-8) 49-20 Illinois (4-8) 31-17 Rutgers (1-11) 47-44 @ Purdue 3OT (6-7) 35-3 Miami (7-6) Losses: 24-21 BYU (7-6) 38-13 @Michigan (10-3) 31-13 @Northwestern (8-5) 22-10 @ Penn State (9-4) 37-15 Minnesota (7-6) Not sure Wisky was a whole lot better than GT last year, and that great OL & running game was unable to get them W's against a few mediocre teams last year. Granted, we were really bad to end the season, I get the feeling we could be one of the most improved teams in the AAC this year. Should be much improved on Defense. Offense could be better too, assuming the OL has improved. Wisconsin wasn't great on the road last year. A win here isn't out of reach.

  14. Indeed, Adams and Valdez Scantling were both transfers... I mean we do pretty darn well with transfers if you really look at it Guys like MVS and Adams have opened some eyes in terms of transferring home to play. Both came back and got drafted. Now with Cronk, Barnett, and McDoom it appears we'll continue that newly formed tradition of letting players come home to play. We send them away on their 1 or 2 year missions and then they come home ready to get to business.

  16. I think this young man has grown a lot over the last 2 years and He will be a valuable and asset to the USF football team and community. Im happy that he has chosen CCS as a mentor for the rest of his college career.

  17. I heard that kids can’t recover properly because CCS won’t let them smoke the marijuana and that is destroying lives and the program one athlete at a time.
