Hi Guest,

Just a note to point out our TBP-initiated drive to raise funds for the Bulls Football IPF - doing our share, and more.  Please consider donating at least $23 to the effort, and passing on to others as well.  You can read more about the project at the link above.

Go Bulls!

Thank you,

Brad Brad

Hi Guest,

In our efforts to raise funds for USF Football, the site is giving away a football season full of ad-free surfing at The Bulls Pen.

Would you consider buying a ticket or two to the raffle that will award this to you or a fellow member of the board?

Each ticket purchase goes directly to our effort to raise $10K in "fan money" for the program.  Below is the link:

Thank you,

Brad Brad

There are a couple of jerseys hanging up in the YC that disagree with the entire history assessment but it's definitely been a long time since we've had one of any note ....

No doubt. I think our closer learned something tonight--- that going with the fastball first pitch every time is not a great idea. Both HRs were first pitch fastballs - they had the book on him for sure. Someone mentioned the team looked defeated after giving up the lead in the 9th. Does that translate into learning how to deal with the situation -- hope so. Always happy to see us beat UF in anything. I would be happy if we can win or at least split the last two games at UNC. What a loaded early schedule-- unlike basketball where we played some pretty soft teams for the most part. If we get anything out of this run of games that helps us get through some tough conference games, it is all worth it.

Hard to argue with that-- they might be able to handle us with their second team alone. Guess we will find out next season-- lots of seniors on this Houston team. Houston won't exactly be sitting on their hands replacing those guys-- this will be an arms race going forward. They are where we hope to be-- and a great example for our young guys to aspire to play like. We need a few more talented pieces to be at their level along with some additional shooting talent. I think most realistic Bulls fans understand that the last part of our season was going to be a grind against the best teams in the conference. But we have to appreciate that we have gone from bottom of the barrel the last few years to fairly respectable opponent with lots of potential going forward as they grow into complete players and as a team. And as most of us have said-- this is at the very least much more entertaining basketball to watch. Sort of reminds me of the early years in football where we seemed to take a step forward each game/year even in the face of stronger competition. It is nice not to be the joke of the conference.

Of course I will be back, where would I go? And just so you know, I have us at 7-5 in the regular season in 2019, but one of those five losses is to Wisconsin.

But JTrue let’s face it if our games are on line it sends a message that we are not good enough to be on the regular espn networks. Regardless of ones belief about wireless, it’s still second class with fewer viewers...we would not even be in the back of the bus we would be on a tricycle eating fumes.
