Athlon has them at #122. I think that makes them the 3rd toughest team on our schedule.

Starts with events like the one below. I'm not sure if got play here, but this is how you win hearts and minds.

Afterall, Journey continued without Steve Perry and people still loved them! Honestly, it's a good question. My guess is people show up in larger numbers when the University and its coaches are there to support it. Otherwise it becomes just another guy trying to get other guys to the bar. We shouldn't speculate, really. mutt has the answers. Could be the heartbreak of the school not having interested in supporting him/his event. Believe me, over the nearly 20 years I've had this site, they've gone from openly embracing and posting on it, to acting as if it were the Devil reconstituted.

As everyone knows I'm 1,200 miles away, but why not have the event minus CCS? Why not continue the tradition with CBG or CJF or Bill McCausland from USFAA? Or just Bulls fans? Why quit?

The fact that he's added humility to his advice to others says a lot. Whether he's learned the easy way or the hard way, at least he learned. Hope the best for him.

Given that USF's Drive to Georgia (Sponsored by Mercedes Benz) and the Mayweather-McGregor fight are both set for August 26th, I offer you this question: Which will be more, total points scored by USF against SJSU or total punches landed by McGregor against Mayweather?

I cant believe people voting for erskin....look into the story, he was more of the reason for jims downfall than miller....other than Jimbo himself of course

Mayweather's longevity in boxing is due to his ability to avoid a punch; I'm going with USF in this one.

Mayweather hasn't knocked anyone out in the last 6 years, other than maybe 1 or 2 girlfriends. McGregor absorbed 157 shots to the head and body in 25 minutes against Nate Diaz and was never knocked down. ESPN Sports Science compared the punching power of Mayweather and Nate Diaz: "In fact, Mayweather’s power is about the same as volume puncher and McGregor rival, Nate Diaz.” Sports Science lists Mayweather’s average power punch at 814 pounds of force and Nate Diaz’s at 820 pounds of force." In order to KO McGregor, Mayweather is most likely going to have to wear him down with a barrage of punches over the course of more than a few rounds.
