THE USF FOOTBALL RADIO SHOW DEBUTS TUESDAY AT WORLD OF BEER

Head Coach Charlie Strong will meet fans weekly at WOB on Fowler
WOB offering great specials for Bulls fans attending the show
 
TAMPA, AUG. 16, 2017 – The USF Football Radio Show will debut live at World of Beer on East Fowler Ave. (near the USF campus) on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Bulls Head Coach Charlie Strong will meet fans in the first installment of the weekly show, which will broadcast live from World of Beer throughout the 2017 season.

Hosted by the Voice of the Bulls Jim Louk and longtime football analyst Mark Robinson, The USF Football Radio Show airs from 6-7 p.m. on the USF Radio Network (820 AM locally) and can be streamed live via GoUSFBulls.com. The show will air eight times on Thursday nights and five times on Tuesday nights, when the Bulls travel on Thursday (as they do for the San Jose State game) or play on a Thursday or Friday night. A full show schedule for the season is below.

Fans are encouraged attend the show live at World of Beer's East Fowler Ave. location, where Strong will take a break during each show to greet and take pictures with fans. Head coaches from USF's other sports will also join the show as guests and Rocky and USF spirit squad members will be in attendance. Fans will also have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the show.

Bulls fans who attend the show in USF gear will receive their choice of a free pretzel, flatbread or draft beer card. World of Beer will also be offering Happy Hour specials including: $5 tavern shares, $3 drafts, $5 spirits, $6 wine and five for $25 Cigar City buckets, with fans able to mix and match their Cigar City Brewing favorites.

Coming off a program record 11-win season, the USF football program was ranked No. 21 in the Preseason Amway Coaches Poll on Thursday. The Bulls appearing at No. 21 matches the highest-ever ranking for the program in the preseason coaches poll (2008). USF has eight players who are represented on 13 national award watch lists, led by senior quarterback Quinton Flowers (Maxwell, Walter Camp, O'Brien & Unitas).

USF begins the 2017 season on the road at San Jose State on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m. EST on CBS Sports Network. The Bulls return to the Bay Area for their home opener against Stony Brook on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 4 p.m. That game will air on ESPN3.
