South Florida The Bulls find themselves this high on the list because of one man. That man is Marlon Mack, who was named AAC Rookie of the Year and placed on the all-conference first-team last season. Mack edged out Houston's Kenneth Farrow for the rushing title in the AAC, compiling 1,041 yards as well as nine touchdowns. He was the only player in the conference to average more than 85 yards per game and he showed great resiliency, carrying the ball 202 times, also a league-best. While he may be the best pure running back in the conference, Mack doesn't have much help, with D'Ernest Johnson (150 yards) the next-best rusher. In fact, the Bulls had only 174 carries as a team outside of Mack's contributions. 1 Houston 2 Cincinnati 3 Tulsa 4 BULLS 5 Tulane 6 UCF 7 Navy 8 ECU 9 Temple 10 Memphis 11 UConn 12 SMU

He's a beast catching out of the backfield, just hasn't had the same chances as Mack. If he/she knew the ability of Johnson , we would be higher on the list. Numbers don't mean everything. All our RBs have pretty good hands, something I'm really hopeful to see in the form of some screens & Swanson-esque romps down the field. They should have the room for it.
